What’s the dumbest comment you’ve heard about wearing perfume?

The dumbest comment I received was from my friends. After showing my perfume collection since I think it's the coolest thing in my house. My guy friend said, “I don’t wear perfumes. I shower to smell good.” The conversation wasn’t even about judging people, just sharing what I like. My other friend said “A tasteful woman should have only one perfume, her signature. Having many perfumes is BAD TASTE.” I didn’t agree but didn’t argue. It felt like both of them were treating perfume like it’s either unnecessary or something you only use when you have poor hygiene. I just found it odd overall. I also had an em5 dupes collection too, which they didn’t see, they had judged me more on other ig. That’s how it went. Do people actually think like that?

What’s the biggest powerhouse in your wardrobe right now?

For me it’s still Dior Homme Intense. I don’t even wear it only for formal stuff anymore. It works on cooler office days, dinners, short outings, pretty much anything where I want something reliable without overthinking it. The performance is strong but not annoying, and I always get consistent reactions from people around me. I’ve tried rotating newer bottles in, but this is the one I keep reaching for when I don’t know what to wear. I also noticed it layers surprisingly well with simple fresh scents. I’ve gone through multiple decants and finally bought a full bottle because nothing else in my collection gets used this much. What’s the one fragrance in your wardrobe that always delivers no matter the situation?

I used to think pepper was a note I should avoid. If a fragrance was described as “peppery,” I usually assumed it would smell too sharp or dry on me. Chanel Allure Homme Sport is one of them. I don’t get a strong pepper blast from it, but it definitely adds something fresh and slightly spicy that keeps it from smelling flat. What’s a note you avoided for years until one fragrance changed your mind about it?

Something weird happened today. I woke up, got ready, and went to grab a fragrance. The whole collection was gone I just froze for a second then started checking everywhere. My heart was racing because I knew how much everything cost. I asked my husband where my perfumes were. He casually said he told me last night that the cupboard lock needed fixing so he moved everything somewhere else and then he started laughing by seeing how panicked I was. I honestly didn’t remember that at all for a few minutes I genuinely thought everything got stolen. It made me realize how much money is sitting in that one spot and how fast it could be gone. Do you guys keep your collection secured or just leave it out normally?
