PCD EAE

Hi, I’m interested in EAEing into PCD but my portfolio is as empty as it can get. I have only completed 1 VIA in school and other than the VIA, I have no relevant experiences that relate to PCD. The only other stuff I can put in my portfolio are my academic awards ( top in subject and Edusave bursary’s ) and my some competitions I participated in for my CCA but did not win. Will there be a chance for me since PCD is a competitive course but my portfolio is super empty?

Eae help

Hi I want to apply to TP law and management, RP Pharmacy science and NP PCD but the problem is, I have nothing in my portfolio at all. I did not join any school competitions or events, participated in any activities and my CCA is not related to any of the courses mentioned so there’s nothing I can use as well since I also hated my CCA from the start and never wanted to really be apart of it. The only saving grace I have is that I have been winning Edusave bursary awards since 2023 but I’m unsure if that even has any relevancy at all. What can I do? I know it’s my fault for never taking the initiative by joining stuff but is there anything I can do now? I’m not very confident in my academic capabilities especially since the courses I’m interested in are quite competitive and hard to enter so I would really hope to secure a spot via EAE. When I say I have nothing to show for at all in my portfolio, I mean it. It’s not an exaggeration besides the academic related aspect, it’s empty.

How do you apply avene cicaplast?

Hi, I got into skincare earlier this year and didn’t do my due diligence which completely wrecked my whole face. It has been about 4 months and the eczema on my face has been getting worse and worse with each new moisturiser I try. I just got the avene cicaplast after hearing the raving reviews about it from fellow eczema sufferers and was curious on how to use it. Do I just use it by itself or do I have to apply a moisturiser first then layer the cicaplast after?

Which torriden moisturiser should I go for?

Hi, I am new to skincare and so would like advise on which moisturiser to choose from torriden. I am unsure of my skin type as it usually feels fine, not too oily not too dry but once I step out I get really oily. When my eczema flares, my face becomes really dry. Besides my skin type, I have dehydrated, sensitive, acne prone and eczema skin. I am on the fence between the torriden dive in soothing cream and the cica balanceful version due to my various skin concerns. Also, if I were to purchase a serum from torriden as well, which line should I purchase from based on my skin? The dive in hyaluronic acid serum or the balanceful one? Thank u!

Should I continue using the product?

I used to have oily skin but now I have dry possibly acne prone sensitive skin with eczema and very bad redness. I saw many good reviews regarding aestura and so I bought their atobarrier cream. On the first day I used it, my whole face seemed less dry but got even redder. When I woke up, my forehead was all flaking and peeling. I used it again the next day and the same issues arose, this time my face got even redder than before. It has been about 2 days since I stopped using it, should i try again or continue using it? I’m pretty sure my skin barrier is damaged and compromised and it seems like nothing I do helps. I’ve tried using the purito bamboo panthenol too but that made my eczema even worse.

B3-B4 chinese still obtainable?

I’m trying to remain optimistic but it’s getting pretty hard. I only have 5 subjects so I need to use chinese. What percentage roughly translates to a b4/b3 in o levels? I got D7 (49%) for my prelims and after checking the answer key for paper 2 q1-20, I’m estimating about 14-17/35 ☹️. I think my compre went okay, about 20 marks in total for both roughly. I got 30/50 for my prelims oral and failed lc horribly, is there still hope for a b3/b4 taking into account all of these? I think my paper 1 went pretty well though, I always get between 39-43/60 for paper 1

[Acne] please help me

17M new to skincare. I live in a hot and humid country. I unknowingly wrecked my skin barrier causing me to break out a ton as well as develop eczema on my forehead, cheeks and sides of my face. I went to a dermatologist and it has finally calmed down after being prescribed steroid creams. I believe I used to be an oily acne prone sensitive skin.

However, now, when I’m out my skin gets really oily especially my T zone. But once I shower at night, my skin turns really dry, especially my eczema spots even though I don’t shower with hot water. I’m trying to get into skin care again and was considering purchasing the BOJ aqua fresh sun screen, aestura ceramide moisturiser and to continue using my round lab Dokdo 1025 cleanser. Previously, I was using the LRP effaclar purifying gel cleanser, duo+m, anthelios sunsceeen and toleriane sensitive fluide. I was new to skincare and didn’t bother checking or reading the ingredients to see if it was fitting for me. After about a month of using, that’s when all the problems started. I dried out, broke out, turned red and got eczema everywhere because of it. I then decided to put in more research and switch to Korean skincare. I started using the round lab Dokdo 1025 cleanser and purito bamboo panthenol cream but it didn’t help at all and made my eczema even worse. Should I continue using the Dokdo cleanser? I’ve only been using water for the past month, no skin care at all but nothing is improving. I suspect it was the purito that broke me out and not the Dokdo as I felt fine everyone after finishing.

I believe now my skin type is oily dry dehydrated sensitive and acne prone but idk anymore. Are the products I’m eyeing to purchase compatible ? Please help.
