Capital One is NOT a good bank to use for CC especially while traveling outside the US and especially if you don't have access to a US phone number.

I had to replace my phone due to damage.
I was able to link my Apple Card and my CS Brokerage CC/Debit card to Apple Wallet in 30 seconds.
And with both of these it's a simple process using app to fix any issues.

With Capital One, they had me log into my account OK, then verify the card with mobile app OK, then it read congratulations, your card has been added to Apple Wallet... but it's not and it won't unless I call them and get a OTP. "We cannot activate your card at this time"... WHY NOT? I'm logged into my account, I scanned the card, you congratulated me.

So, I will not use Capital One cards anymore. Next time I'm in the US I will close my CapitalOne account.

Also, if or when they switch to the Discover network, it's useless to me in Asia.

Capital One, stop your reliance on OTP.

I have green up and red down candle stick set in all my charts while in Light Mode.
When I change Look & Feel to Dark Mode, the up candle changes to blue in all the charts.
I need to go into each chart and change appearance to green.
When I change back to Light Mode, the up candle changes to purple in all the charts and I have to go into each and change to green.

What am I doing wrong?
Is there a way to fix this?

I tried a fix - setup the light mode and save as Light Mode and set up the dark and save as Dark Mode, but that didn't work. It stayed as Dark Mode.

Today I registered at Bangkok Hospital in Thailand.
When I showed the registration staff member my BCBS (Basic) card, I was told, "sorry sir, that insurance company is blacklisted, you must pay first."
I asked why are they blacklisted. They said because BCBS wasn't paying claims, so now the patient must pay first before treatment.
I asked when did this begin. They said a year ago.
Not sure this person was speaking correct terminology.

Bangkok Hospital is listed as a Preferred Provider when I used the app looking for PP in my area.
From what I read in the Service Plan, most (if not all) overseas providers are considered PP and/or In-Network.

So, my question is:
Has anyone in Thailand with BCBS run into any problems with claims filed after having medical care at Bangkok Hospital?
Or any other hospital in Thailand?

When providing copies of tax forms and bank accounts.

1. Is the BOI ok with redacting all but the last 4 numbers of social security and bank accounts?

2. When submitting documents with a lot of info on the page(s), is it ok to underline the specific info that they are interested in?

3. Passport photo, does it require a collard shirt or is a dress shirt without collar accepted?
