Wish we saw more unique flourishes for lightsabers in the anime

When the Season 1 short came out I was really interested in not only the color changing depending on who wields a lightsaber but also potentially lightsabers having small flourishes for each character.

In the short we saw that Kara's lightsaber was glowing very faintly due to her not having a full grasp of her force abilities but it eventually solidified.

Imagine if your lightsaber gaining a flourish like Juro's ring guard was a visual indication of further progression.

Some ideas:

- A curved blade so the lightsaber actually becomes a saber

- A cross guard

- The blade narrows to resemble an actual swordblade like the darksaber

I'm not disappointed with the direction they went in with the whole silver saber thing but I wish they included something like this too even if it wasn't a primary focus like the silver saber was.

Soo why did Divinity want ben to transform into Alien X

Don't get me wrong the fight was cool but why was Divinity so obsessed with getting Ben to transform? Was it really as simple as his ego and wanting to fight a "worthy foe?"

There was just a lot of emphasis put on it and it seemed like this was a key part of his plan.

Where does the goodness of the Jedi come from?

Correct me if I got it wrong or whatever.

Any force user that connects to the living force would gain a heightened sense of what it means to be alive and how living beings think, work and feel.
And the more the Jedi empathetically connect to sentient life the more they become altruistic.

Does that explain why the Jedi (on paper and in theory that is) are unconditionally compassionate and indiscriminately selfless?

Why wouldn't Truthsayers be able to detect lies of omission?

A few times in the first novel notably with the Baron, people wanted to have some level of plausible deniability in case they were placed before a BG truthsayer. This is the reason the Baron tries to have the desert kill Paul and Jessica rather than doing so directly.

But it got me thinking, there's no reason a bene gesserit truthsayer wouldn't be able to detect a lie by omission. They aren't machines, they're just really good at picking up on body language cues. The same cues of nervousness, anticipation, and fear would be present whether you're telling an overt lie or simply hiding the truth.

My theory is that this is a lie that the BG have perpetuated so they can manipulate the nobles they are in service to. They'll do their job just well enough to be useful, but also give themselves an out if they need to preserve an individual for whatever reason. "Oh well he technically wasn't lying when he said X"

What would the universe look like if the Harkonnen-Imperial attack failed

Say Yueh's intent to betray is caught by Jessica or his Imperial conditioning breaks through and he doesn't go through with it and/or Leto manages to rally the freman to his side sooner.

In any case the Harkonnen assault on the Atreides is a failure, Leto is still alive and in control of Arrakis. What happens next?

Error when trying to install network driver

Hardware: Macbook Air 2013 (Broadcom Wireless adapter: 14e4:43a0 rev 03)

iso: lubuntu-24.04.3-desktop-amd64

I was trying to get wifi to work on my machine, so I did USB tethering with my phone and tried to install the wireless driver but this error message pops up every time I do it also seems to switch my choice to "Do not use the device." Does anyone know what this error message means and how to resolve it?
