Are people still playing 3v3?

Holy Paladin here, looking to get gladiator for the first time. I'm at 2149 (touched 2195) but it feels impossible to actually play. Not even a skill thing, I can't find many players willing to play... I tried taking lower cr people (because noone signs up) and get hit onto the head if I dare lose a game due to MMR and stuff. Even if I get a good streak, it takes only a single bad game to wipe all the progress...

Signing up for groups feels like a chore, I stare at the screen for hours on end because people only want the lizards and I stay right there, getting frustated not even from the gameplay but a stupid window...

I don't know, I feel like I should have started pushing a bit earlier but I'm a still a "new" player, so I focused on getting Legend first then attempt Gladiator. And I feel comfortable with the right comps, it's just that I can't find anyone.

Am I the only one who's in this situation? Playing in EU, btw.

First time Legend! (as Holy Paladin 👌)

I want to thank the Hammer of Wrath Discord for letting me know a not at all clear strat to heal from kilometers away using the Bulwark on an ally. While not 100% necessary the last few games, it helped me stay on top after having had a terrible losing streak.

What can I say? It was kinda miserable before getting every single vers/mastery gear on every single slot. Plus, this new trick was game-changing.

Against Pres Evokers? Nah, I'd rather quit, those scalies are immune to everything lol. Other classes were fine, to be fair.

First time Elite! Yippe!

I started PvP'ing properly only last season, the last months to be precise. I did some PvP in Legion but didn't push much and it felt weird.

After trying to get the bear tint for the Guardian Druid artifact (with Blitz) in TWW S3, I delved into it with my paladin and other classes and man, it's been a blast so far.

This is on Hpally (I'm also Duelist on my Disc Priest). After fixing my stats with unlocked Conquest, which are REALLY important for this spec, it was a breeze pushing. It's slow but every cast feels heavy and rewarding.

I'm gonna grind some Elite sets for other classes. I would love to try to get a team for 3s and possibly get Glad, though it's hard to find people to play with.

EDIT: https://drustvar.com/character/eu/argent-dawn/myriah my character for anyone wondering...

Duelist reached, yippe! Let's see if I can climb to Elite for the first time!

I started PvP'ing last season as Holy Paladin (mainly) and got many Elite sets for other classes. I'm so happy I reached the rank I had last season but... I want more! I'll try pushing forward and see if I can do it 🥰

I actually peaked at 1922 or something last week (around 2,3k with inflation) but went ping pong because I spammed too many games and burnt myself out. Blizz should inflate MMR sooner later, I'm getting more progress by playing less to have more MMR as the days go by...

This is on Holy Paladin with not optimized stats (silly me got the 4 set and it's not meta).

Don't get me wrong, doing some games and not stressing about cr is fun. Disc and Hpally are my favorite healers but damn, the game just doesn't want me to progress faster...

▲ 51 r/vegan

I didn't know that caring about animals was such a big deal for people. Basically, I want to become full vegan and I've already taken care of many things (no diary, no meat, only plant based foods, etc...) but the amount of pressure I'm receiving is unbelievable. My family treats it as something "alien and weird", while friends tell me "eat eggs, you need them! vegan is too extreme!". Also, I'm struggling to find vegan pizzas and sweets in town. I feel like I live in a place 5 or 10 years behind regarding this.

The worst thing is that I feel like I'm "selfish" or "wrong" for taking this stance, as if I'm forcing someone to do something. I'm 24 and stil live with my family (kinda normal where I live), I said that I can personally take care of food and stuff if it's necessary, but it's still a problem for my parents and they feel bad about it since they usually take care of the food for the rest of the family (me and my brother).

I just can't eat meat anymore, no matter how much I like it. It's awful to eat another living being that had emotions and a conscience. While eggs and dairy are not meat, they're still an animal product usually took with force from them (there's always the occasional farmer here that treats chickens well and get their eggs, but still I would prefer not to eat them...)
