This is a 1987 Model M SSK. I am on a project to make this board more office friendly. I have already performed floss mod, however the spacebar (still) does this ominous rattling on key release. I am not talking about the click that the spring normally makes. But it's somehow as the bar of plastic resonates or vibrates on top of the flipper or so. The metal "stabilizer" rod seems to be in place and tucked inside the plastic hook on the barrel plate. This rattling also occurs as one gently prods on the side of the spacebar (without actually triggering the key). I am about to perform floss modding but cannot find proper guide. I understand that one has to insert a small thread of floss vertically into the spring but it is unclear how that's done: tuck it from top or pull the spring out and put them back together? I fear that if i pull the spring off then i might not be able to get it back on.

I would like to bring an item (it its original paper box) and it fits the dimensions of a "trolley bag" of a priority ticket. It is a regular cardboard box though. Can i bring it aboard like that despite it is not a "bag"?

Also: can they bring it to cargo if out of space?

Some users complain about kernel panics after they installed kernel 7.x. I wasn't aware but as I now checked on my kernel version (`uname -r`), turns out I already have 7.0.0-28 installed. It works just fine on my super old Lenovo x200. I don't even know how this got installed because I heard that one has to explicitly ask for the installation of this version which I did not do. The only significant upgrade I did was when i upgraded to Mint Zena. However, per gemini that does not upgrade the kernel either. I usually install whatever upgrade manager offers in its usual list.

Hi all! I'm looking for a travel bag for my Model M SSK. The dimensions are one thing, but I'm hoping to hear from people who have actually found a bag that fits it well and is practical for travel.
