So the wish willows are tied to a person's deep desires. When bear made that horrible wish, the wish willow saw deep into his mind, his heart, his soul. When it heard bears wish it asked itself "wtf is love? What does that mean?" How could it know? It's an inanimate object it doesn know such complicated emotions.

So the willo stared straight into bears dark obsessive, rotten self and saw him lying in bed on his phone swiping picture after picture of Nikki. Him making dry humorless jokes as Nikki laughed at them anyways. Him lying in bed with Nikki doing the deed. Of Nikki basically being at his beck and call without any complains whatsoever. Wish willow saw bear wanted this so bad and said "all right I guess this is love? Granted."

Then there is wish Nikki. All she wanted was have bear's undivided attention. To correspond to her "love". Wish willow saw this and said "very well. "

But after the death of bear and Nikki snaps out of it then what? Well here it's interesting. You see Nikki still has one wish unfulfilled. The wish willow granted dark Nikki's wish only. It desired bear. The wish willows are tied to a person's soul. I thinkbear bought like a box full of those willows didn't he? Well when Nikki comes to she tells herself she has to get out of there fast. She searched bears pockets for the car keys and finds a wish willow. She paused and thinks of this. With the sounds of the sirens getting louder and louder she just says it without really thinking if it works.

"I wish none of this had happened."

The wish willow seeks into her mind, her soul...and notices her wish hasn't been granted. It granted dark Nikki's wishes but now she's gone and the real Nikki is in front of the willow. It ponders for a moment. It realizes that real Nikki has a clean slate of wishes and thus allows it.

In that moment a cop shows up , gun raised noticing the chaos in the room and tells Nikki to put her hands up in the air. In her confusion and state of mind Nikki doesn't know what to do, doesn't comply. So the cop fires a round aiming for her head. Just when the bullet is about to pierce her head, she is teleported. Back to the moment that began all of this.

Nikki sees bear in his car, salivating with something in his hands. She bitch slaps the fuck out of him and takes away the wish willow.

In a fit of anger she tells him off. "You are a horrible piece of shit of a human. You have any idea what kind of hell you put me through because of your obsession with me? I hate you I wish you didn't exist!" Nikki accidentally breaks the willow. And the unthinkable happens. Bear is gone. The car is too. Not only that but any trace of bear ever having been on this planet is erased from the annals of history.

Nikki is confused why she's outside in the middle of the road. Why wouldn't she? The willow erased all traces of bear, including memories of him anyone ever had. So she goes back to her house and gets the rest she was denied.

And from here her life is normal. She becomes a successful author. Her friendship with Ian and Sarah was strengthened. They cleared up any dust in the air between them but in the end remained good friends.

But why did the wish willow grant her a wish for the second time? Did it have to do with her going back in time? Or maybe it allowed it just that one time, to serve justice for it had never granted such a dark twisted and greedy OBSESSION and swore it would never grant it again.

So I was looking at a clip on tiktok and I came across a comment that said "why did he have to say more than anyone in the fucking world". Now I feel like this created such a strong entity within Nikki.

Now I know it was better he didn't make a wish at all but what if he said something less obsessive like "I wish Nikki had a crush on me. " Or like "I wish Nikki liked me." Or something like that.

I think she would still be "possessed" by something but maybe it wouldn't be as intense and maybe Nikki would keep some of herself? Maybe that would've allowed bear to do something about it, at least to break up with her idk. What do y'all think ?
