Today is the day to settle the sub's favorite emirate once and for all without starting a civil war down–wait actually, you know what? Go ahead. Argue and debate as much as you want and as much as you please.
Just.. don't give out insults, please? ✌️

This is just to gauge your interests, it's not something we're planning on yet. The idea just crossed my mind all of a sudden and voila, this post.
But would you guys participate in tournaments being hosted for the subreddit? It can be of any kind, really. It could either be something like a bracket where people vote on for 2 weeks max until there's a winner
Or.. it could even have people actively participating in it instead of just voting.
We would probably be hosting those said tournaments, if enough, or a considerable amount of people show an interest to participate, that is.
So drop a comment below the post with your thoughts, or suggest any challenges you'd want to see included. If there's enough hype, maybe we can start putting it together.

That is because he's dead.
P.S two people mentioned that we should be doing gaming activities, we'll keep that in consideration
Welcome to the subreddits first ever weekly thread! Was supposed to be yesterday but uhhhh... uh... UHHH
Anyways, we're gonna be doing a community fast food tier list. Rank your favorite fast food chains using S, A, B, C, D, and F tiers. Whether it's McDonald's, Al Baik, Jollibee, KFC, Burger King, Hardees, Popeyes, Wendy's, Five Guys, or any other chain, we want to see your rankings.
Feel free to explain your choices, reply to other people's lists/opinions, and debate if you shall. But keep things respectful and friendly.
Every week we'll post a new fun weekly thread, so come back next week for another. If you have any suggestions, send a modmail or send a dm. Next weekly thread will be this Sunday
Now, what's in your S-tier? 🍔🍟
How would you guys feel if r/UAETeenagers had fun weekly threads at like let's say.. every Saturday or Sunday? It's like what you may have seen in other subs. It could be a discussion about anything. For instance, a debate over which is better than which (nothing TOO controversial, rest your head about it) it can be related to places in the UAE, food, snacks, etcetera.
It won't just be debates of course, there will be different types of threads at every (maybe Saturday?) of the week.
What do you think? Of course, if we'll need to do this continously, there should be activeness from your side.
EDIT: Threads every Sunday
These posts are a breeding ground for creeps, unwanted lurkers and weirdos to speak to minors. As a result, we've decided that these types of posts are unsafe to make for a local teen sub especially, and therefore for your safety and sanity, any "insta gc" post from now on will be subject to removal.
We also do not want to waste our time manually checking and verifying profiles under these posts which typically have around 20-60 comments.
If anyone questions this feel free to do so.
We, the mod team have worked the best we could to protect and keep the subreddit in order, and also to maintain its identity as a teen subreddit.
For the four weeks that we've been active as the current mod team, we've been weeding out shady accounts from the subreddit left and right to the point it's almost.. countless you can say. And we've even made some major changes, like stricter guidelines for adults within the subreddit.
While we're doing everything we can behind the scenes to ban bad actors and protect the subreddit's core identity, we need your eyes too. Please report someone to the mods through mod mail, or the report button whenever you see something off, and we'll go through it and take the best course of action.
In the meantime, let us know your thoughts:
• Do you feel safe posting/commenting here lately?
• Have you noticed a drop in spam, creeps, unwanted lurkers, etcetera, within the subreddit?
• What else can we do to improve the community?
Leave your honest feedback, suggestions, or any specific concerns below. We're always listening.
