It’s time…Im moving, tips?

My parents spent a lot of money to remediate but still reacting and actually worse! maybe more cleaning could work anyway my dr just advised to move since I have means and he’s seen many struggle for years trying to cope in their environment

Anyway I have shoemaker safe housing guide but wonder what you found to be most helpful?

I’m using my nose the most since it’s always smelling musty and sour when I’m in unsafe housing

Does anyone experience DPDR with their neuropathy?

I have Small Fiber Neuropathy (idiopathic), MCAS, POTS, probably EDS, and now CIRS which I understand basically no traditional dr believes in but anyway, I notice when I have environmental trigger, my neuropathy flares then I experience DPDR or more so derealization. Working with doctor already to unpack it all and heal, but wondering if others experience the same?

Realized I've been car-free for over 6 years and it feels so good

Super grateful to live in Portland, Denver, and SF throughout those years to get me into biking as my daily transportation!

Yes, I have rented with turo/get around/zip car for special weekend trips, but that's about it. I also know the reason I've been able to travel and move around freely is actually because I do not have a car to worry about. Also, been able to live in such cool areas of a city because I do not need to worry about parking.

While I'm in SoCal temporarily right now, I bought a bike for $400 from a local shop, and it's been great. I know once I'm settled again, I'll purchase my first electric bike. I was tempted to invest in an electric car, but I snapped out of it quickly with the growing cost of car ownership. That's a NO.

Cheers to all the bikers!

This would be my second time in remission the last four years....it's terrifying to be sick but also terrifying to feel better....see how long it lasts....and if I can make plans? Ugh. So many emotions!

Anyone been thru similar?
