In the context of Scottish Gaelic polytheism, is it ok to include deities from Ireland or Wales into your practice?

I recently began digging into my ancestry as I do not know my father that well and discovered through DNA testing that I am a third Scottish. This discovery led me to do my family tree and hire a genealogist to confirm what I discovered. As it turns out my 4x great grandparents immigrated to America from Scotland in the mid to late 1700s and their parents fought in the Battle of Culloden.

I am however American (currently living in France). So I am looking for book recommendations or resources on Scottish folk magic, or Scottish-American folk magic.

I was curious what form of incense you all prefer in your ritual and spell work? Loose incense, powders, sticks or cones? If you use non-combustible incense like loose and powders, do you use charcoal or a warmer?

I generally use sticks and cones that I make myself but I was just curious about how other witches tend to use incense as it is a passion of mine (incense) 😊

I am looking for ways to honor/connect with the land I grew up on (I am from California, lived there all my life until four years ago when I moved to France). I would love to collect some items from home on my next visit like local native plants to dry, sand from beaches, stones from creeks, etc. but I’m curious about how to display or use these items?
