Sensitivity Labels, MP4/AVI videos and an unknown error

Hi,

We recently enabled sensitivity labels for our files and sites. Since doing so we have run into an error where MP4 content no longer works when shared externally, the content can be shared via OneDrive or SPO but when an external party tries to open it they get an error saying 'Something Went wrong', Error type: 'Unknown Issue".

The sensitivity label on this content is Public. Office documents and PDF's work as expected when shared externally, we have isolated the issue to video files. Anyone else come across this?

Happens on content that was there prior to enabling labelling and new videos uploaded.

Edit: I am not sure what's going on but it turns out it was related to Conditional access requiring Authentication strength. I don't know why it only started after labels were applied and unsure how it only applied to video files but its working once we excluded guests from the main MFA policy and made one without authentication strength options enabled.

CoPilot pilot to test users - Am I being overly cautious?

I'm a solo IT Manager with a DBA as a direct report, everything IT falls under my responsibility and we are looking at piloting CoPilot however I want a sense check that I'm not being too cautious and in turn limiting how effective CoPilot could be.

I've set up sensitivity labels, 5 of them and am applying a 'general' policy that is pretty loose on all new emails and all new files. Users have the ability to increase the sensitivity if they feel the need. One label is for no copilot and i've set a DLP policy to prevent copilot access to data with this label.

My thought behind this was to label all payroll data as no copilot, encouraging HR to mark some of their data as 'no copilot', medical information our safety team might receive and also auto apply the label to the separate confidential mailboxes our c-suite have so the EA's cannot see salary/performance discussions.

Am I being too cautious and potentially limiting CoPilots effectiveness to some of these teams?

Given Copilot is limited to what a user can see I want a sense check when it comes to this type of data, are others doing similar or are they simply relying on users permissions to gatekeep CoPilot?

Electroxlux pyro oven rear cover fell off

The internal rear cover has fallen off in our oven, it appears the screw holes have become threaded.

Looking at the screw holes in the oven I can see what appears to be a fibrous material. It almost seems like the screws were fixed into this material directly so increasing the screw size may not be the best option.

Are there any adhesives that are oven safe that could be used or any other suggestions to pack the holes to rescrew into?

As this is a pyro oven any suggestions would need to withstand the heat

Linked workbook data not updating

This process using linked workbooks was designed before I started at this org but we are in the process of modernising it with an internally developed portal. We have an immediate need to resolve the issue for now. So i'm not identified I have simplified the below.

We have a main distribution centre(referred to as MDC), whose inventory is fed by edge DC's(referred to by EDC)

We have a master inventory spreadsheet, its a beast that has a sheet for the MDC and one for each EDC.

The MDC sheet has a column for each EDC and product we have, then inventory manager will place a value on the day a product from an EDC need to ship to arrive at our MDC. The EDC's tab/sheet has a link in every cell to the MDC to auto update. Managers of the EDC's have view access to this workbook and its hosted in SharePoint Online.

Each EDC has a separate workbook with a workbook link back to their tab in the master inventory workbook.

The issue we are finding, if the inventory manager updates the MDC tab, the value comes across to the EDC's tab as expected. We are finding that linked value is not coming across to the separate EDC's workbook despite the workbook link refreshing.

If I open up the master inventory spreadsheet and break one of the EDC cell's formula and put something into the cell then the separate EDC workbook updates as expected.

Again, I know this process is convoluted hence us modernising it.

New users with incorrect OWA working hours

We have AD sync enabled up to Entra and use Exchange Online.

Business Premiums licences are assigned by membership to an Entra group. Mailbox is auto created.

I've noticed that the last couple of new users who are created their Timezone set to GMT+10 which is correct but working hours as GM-8. This is causing their Outlook calendars to be unavailable during the work day.

I can manually fix via powershell but I'd rather find the cause. Does anyone know how to get all users, and new users to have working hours match their timezone?
