Just got logged out when clicking reply to a tweet

It just logged me out and asked me to complete "verification" while replying to a tweet. I've had to do this before but only when posting from a VPN. In this particular instance, I was replying from my laptop with no VPN, from a browser that I've been using twitter on and logged into for several months.

They didn't just send a code or ask me to do some stupid captcha, it wants me to take a picture of some BS QR code on my phone, then log in to the app from my phone to verify. I'm not logged into twitter on my phone and I don't even have the app installed as I don't need it on my phone and I like to minimize the apps I have on there. Is there any way to get around this?

Morgan and Morgan (plus most law firm ads)

Morgan and Morgan ads have been annoying for a long time but one that's been playing recently just irks me. I can't find the exact ad online but it's a variation of this one:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yH8aacxwI0

Basically in the ad they're like "Yes we're a national firm with over 1000 lawyers but we're also a family firm."

Lol no. You can't have it both ways. If average Joe gets into a car wreck and walks into a Morgan and Morgan office, he'll never even see an actual Morgan family member unless there is a high likelihood of a million plus payout.

Morgan and Morgan are the most carny ads out there but there are others that are on all the time, Anastapoulo and George Sink come to mind. I see these commercials and I immediately think these people are basically Better Call Saul but on a national/corporate level.

The best firms that are most respected might have billboards but you never see them putting out these carny ads because they don't need to. That's because ambulance chasers operate based on volume. They take in enough cases eventually they'll hit on a few and that sustains the practice. They prey on low income people who are desperate and need the money because they are laid up or have been scammed or whatever.

So stat tracking in this game is just wrong

Ever since I started periodically checking the stat tracking page it's just blatantly wrong for some stats. Some seem reasonable, but the counters on kills with individual guns in particular are wrong. Even the gg and statsly pages don't have the right values here. Supposedly I only have 414 kills with the P90 despite having it level 70 and having two separate 100 kill games with it. Meanwhile it shows me with 544 kills with the M433 despite I only have it to like level 15 and barely played with it. All stat tracking avenues also show me with more M60 kills than RPKM kills which is also inaccurate as my M60 is barely level 20 and my RPKM is over level 50 and they only list it at 123 kills.

The map stats are wrong too. It says I've played 86 games on Cairo, 61 on Iberian, 44 Empire State, 32 Manhattan Bridge, 13 New Sobek, 12 Eastwood, 11 Firestorm, 9 Liberation Peak, 8 Blackwell, 7 Hagental, 4 Contaminated. The top 2 might be right I have no idea, but I've eclipsed those match counts on Eastwood and Blackwell just in the past 2 weeks. The numbers don't add up there regardless if those are stats for the season or for my career.

One of the most enjoyable things about BF3/BF4 for me was the stat tracking that Battlelog offered. Especially being able to track kills for individual guns and vehicles and then compare to leaderboards by country, global, or platform. Battlelog was a great feature and as a console player I loved being able to browse servers on there and click join and it loaded me into a game on my console. Being able to manage battle packs, platoon, classes, and view stats and servers in one place was incredibly convenient. I don't know how they screw up something as simple as stat tracking when they had a perfect system for it 15 years ago.

MBT/Bradley smoke destroying C4 needs to change

Not sure if this is a bug or an intentional "balancing" attempt, but it is absolutely ridiculous that popping smoke destroys C4 and not balanced at all. If you are a tank and get yourself C4'd it's because you got too aggressive or dropped your awareness or you don't have a good gunner. In either case getting blown up by a patient/stealthy C4 plant is fitting.

I use the MBT a lot, and even before this most recent update I would frequently drop 60+ kills with under 5 deaths on Liberation Peak breakthrough and some of them were with a gunner that wasn't even engineer. Tanks don't need a get out of jail free card to destroy C4 if they let their guard down.

I bought this game on sale a few months ago. I'm loving playing it, but the screen clutter on some maps and at some points is just too much. I wish there were a way to turn down/off particle effects or screen clutter. I haven't played all the tracks yet and don't know the names, but one in particular reminds me of a rainbow road on crack type deal. All that neon flashing combined with all the screen clutter leaves me with a headache sometimes and having to close/blink my eyes after races.

I stopped playing due to risk of getting false banned via hackers. Is that still a thing? If not how prevalent are other malicious hacks in multiplayer? IE damage hacks, people playing as bosses, et cetera.

They have several commercials, this is just the most common current one. The spelling of the brand name would indicate that it should be pronounced as "bihm-zehlcks." However they pronounce it as "bihm-zehl-ecks." If they wanted that pronunciation, they should have used a spelling to better reflect that, such as Bimzelyx, Bimzelix, Bimzelex, or Bimzel-X.

This brings up a secondary issue that is the dumb names of all these prescription drugs. Skyrizi, Wegovy, Epgliss, Evenity, Flabysmo, Zepbound. Seriously who is naming this stuff? I probably misspelled most of those; I'm making this right after seeing a Bimzelx ad so that one was right in front of me I know that one is right.

Automatic muting device for TV commercials

Does anyone know if such a device exists currently? I came across an article for a device that seems to be defunct now called Mute Magic. The article is below, but the website it links to is no more:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/meet-mutemagic-little-40-box-automatically-mutes-tv-135612910.html

In searching, I also came across a device called Mr. Mute. However this product has 2 websites, mrmute.tv and mrmute.com and is only available on those sites nowhere else. Each site is selling the device for a different price ($50 vs $100), and I can't find any independent reviews online. It seems kind of sketchy to me.

Btw this would mostly be for use with live TV.
