How long from getting my acceptance letter should I expect a call?

So I got my acceptance letter for AISH dated September 22nd. I did have to email them my notice of assessment which I did and was confirmed it was received on September 24th. So I've met all my obligations and in the letter it says my file has been sent to the south zone commencement team to set up a meeting to start AISH benefits. I did call last Thursday just making sure they got my NOA when I sent it and they as i said confirmed they did and that someone should be calling me within a week. Its now been a week.

Just wondering how long this has taken for others to hear from them after getting their letters? Should I call the processing center and bug them again? I habe terrible anxiety (one of the main reasons I got acceptance) and I feel like calling them is rocking the boat or something.

Do i have any reason to doubt an acceptance letter?

So I did my application because income support made me since my dr put that my GAD, CPTSD and other stuff is permanent. I got my application filled and submitted around August 20th iirc.

Anyways, aish processing told me they needed my Notice of assessment for 2025 and I emailed that to them on September 24th.

Fast forward to 9pm yesterday and my landlord gave me my mail and theres a letter saying I have been accepted for AISH (not adap) but its dated September 22nd.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but with how bad my anxiety is I'm always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Part of me thinks they screwed up or something amd how was it accepted with a letter dated 2 days before I sent in my NOA by email.

Maybe I have OCD tendencies as well 🤷 lol.

Says that my file is going to be transferred to the south zone center and I just need to await a phone call to finish my enrollment into AISH. I just cant get past the "how was it accepted 2 days before" thing.

No date for the call on the letter either

Edit: I was able to call the application center today as yesterday they were closed for truth and reconciliation day, anyway they said the letter was sent by the medical adjudication team. But they did receive my NOA and that yes I am in fact accepted and I just have to wait for a call from the south zone commencement team which they said should be within the next week.

Hit 7mgs, feeling rough

So, TLDR I was on 24mgs of clonazepam a day in 2019 I tapered to 2mgs then covid hit held there till 2023 then started tapering again, I'd shuffle between 1.125mgs and 1.5mgs back and fourth unit i switched fully over to diazepam from 1.5mgs of clonazepam at 30mgs diazepam equivalent in September 2024. Since switching its been a steady March forward and im now at 7mgs. I've been going usually at a rate of -.5mgs every 2-3 weeks for the last while. The drop from 8 to 7.5 went pretty flawlessly and I was feeling pretty good about it but the last cut was Friday before this last one, so 8 days basically since the cut. This one blind sided me. I try to go into each decrease with 0 expectations because they're so random. But this one hurt. My anxiety has been pretty bad and the tinnitus is screaming. I'm over the sweating profusely thankfully and am getting windows of feeling ok. But man I dont know why this one hurt so much. Since the switching im now over ⅔s done and definitely a shit ton further than where I was on 24mgs of clonazepam, and I'm happy I'm making milestones... but this is a bit demoralizing. I've been in this process so long that I have absolutely no inclination what it is anymore not to be struggling with benzos.

I'm gonna hold a bit, I dont think I'd be able to handle another dose drop next week. I know im in the thick of it rn with only being on day 8 since my last dose cut, but at the same time im tired of being in the process. Im gonna try and see if my benefits from the government will cover a liquid compound of diazepam so I can micro taper each day instead of doing stair steps every 2-3 weeks. Try to do a ramp instead. If they dont cover it then i guess im kinda stuck with doing the .5mgs reductions as diazepam doesn't come any smaller that 2mg pills and im already doing ¼ pill cuts. Doing smaller seems unrealistic with the pills unless theres some way im not aware of.

I get ppl telling me on benzo buddies that I inspire them as ive made such massive progress, but when I'm still looking at at least another 7 months or more of tapering it still feels so far off.

This shit sucks. I'm trying not to get depressed over it. I'm trying to stay positive, that I'm doing good and im investing in my future. Its just hard to stay that way when suffering.

Taken care of

Posted on here a while ago with a nail i kept clipping on an angle and taking out myself, it'd keep growing back and getting infected, so found a clinic near me that didn't need a referral and cost no extra (here in Canada we need a referral for surgical podiatrist or pay $500-700) but AI found me a clinic right near me that does a permanent matrixectomy using phenol to do the ablation in the NE of Calgary. Feel like no pain at all, just a bit of throbbing, Tylenol seems to be doing the trick, and he used a good amount of phenol, like 4 swabs worth... man that stuff reeks. Worst part was the needles to numb it, but then it was fun to watch the whole process. Glad I did it because wow there was a very large amount growing curved into the side of my left toe. Might have to get the right one done but going to wait till this heals. The right doesn't seem as bad as the left but the dr is gonna take a look on Friday when I have my follow up to see how im healing. The Dr said keep the original bandage on amd keep it dry until Friday when I see him. But online says change the bandage after 24 hour. But i guess I should listen to the dr. And he checked to make sure there wasn't anything hiding deep in the side of my toe. So hopefully this will be a permanent solution. If you can get it done... do it!

NE bus stops getting ruined

I dunno what is going on with someone, but pretty much every bus stop i saw today in the NE around Whitehorn to PLC and by village square etc all smashed. This one's just at Whitehorn Dr and 52nd st NE. As a teen i may have thought this was edgy, now I just see stupid ppl wasting tax money. This was pretty deliberate. Wondering what someone's pissed at.
