For context, I quit CSGO shortly after release, I didn't like it as much as Source or 1.6 due to weapon recoil changes. I only came back recently when CS2 was announced, it feels much better so I decided to go play Faceit after Valve put me in bottom silver with 8/10 wins. (I used to be sheriff before I left)

The first few matches I played with 2 friends, we had a blast. Win some, lose some, I don't care about score just have a laugh. That went on for a few days.

One day we got a string of toxic teams to the point that every day I get a message saying one of my reports banned at least 1 person, some days multiple people. I decided to grab 1 month of that cheap premium tier to play super matches expecting people to be calm and collected, turned out to be the same result.

Currently I have 2 minor issues that, as time goes by and they repeat, they are starting to become more and more relevant:

1. Toxic people are impossible to deal with. They mess up your current game, it doesn't matter much if they get banned tomorrow, your game is already cooked. Maybe next time they are on the other team, it happens both ways, but I also don't enjoy playing vs a team where everyone is throwing nades at each other because someone went long instead of B.

I appreciate feedback telling me someone I reported got banned though, at least I saved someone from having a bad time.

2. Some people don't use mics or just talk to their friends in some language. I have the deference of using Discord to talk to my friends to avoid bothering people with my regional language, and while I understand mics are optional, we're playing a ranked game mode where info is crucial. If I wanted everyone to be silent I'd play a single player game instead. I don't even need constant input, just stuff like "flashes B" or something from time to time so I understand what is going on at the other side of the map.

With this, I mean to say I like the game. I've been playing CS since 1.3 in LANs almost 30 years ago, it's probably my best bang-for-buck game, but there are some issues that I'd like to sort out, I would like to come back and stay for a long time if possible.

What can I do to have more "fun" matches? Not necessarily climb ranks or anything just chill. Does it get better in lower ranks? Upper ranks? Normal matchmaking? Super matches? Anything helps.

Long story short, I left this game years ago, and decided to come back because a friend wanted a super chill MOBA game. I tried to recruit him, he successfully joined me but we saw no progress so I googled for a bit and some people claim recruit a friend is disabled for some reason.

Can someone tell me how to confirm if my friend's progress is being tracked?

It seems like the whole profile section is severely lacking in terms of UI/UX. There's an endless list of prefixes and suffixes that you have to scroll through, without any search, filtering, or ordering features. It shouldn't take much effort to implement and it would be a huge improvement.

Here's a short list of things that would greatly improve the experience:

1. Search filter where we can type something and it filters both lists.
2. A button to toggle between ordering unlocked/locked separately, or sort by name.
3. Allow us to click achievement-linked titles to navigate to the achievement we must do in order to unlock the title. E.g. If "Blue" is locked, when clicking the title it would open a window on the side, or a preview of the achievement "Fully Equipped" that you can track to follow the achievement.
4. Add a button to clear all shiny indicators for newly unlocked titles without having to manually scroll over it. (Thanks u/Jafar_420)
