Hi All!

I hope you are doing well! :) As promised, we have some new things we would like to introduce in Treehouse Days to help create more outreach, increase recruitment of helpers and more! :)

Here are some of the latest announcements!

Treehouse Days Workshops

Treehouse Days Workshops are events that would be scheduled for roughly the middle of each month, providing individuals with an opportunity to connect with the leaders at Treehouse Days get acquainted, connect with other members, and help those in-game with being directed to this group if possible. :) These events are also to further engage the community to relax and have fun with leaders of this community as well as others to get to know each other, including other volunteers. :)

Anyone can schedule these events but it aims to help not only connect one another from inside and outside of this group, but also to give others an opportunity to start on the quests, with the addition of the original monthly event!

Treehouse Ambassadorship

We are opening applications for ambassadorship for Treehouse Days! Further details will be posted regarding this position. However, an overview of the position entails a fully volunteer obligation to help promote these community events in-game, lead others to help fulfill quests when posted or on the main, etc. We have one volunteer already and times are flexible. :)

Hi All! :)

I hope you are doing well! For those that may not know me, I'm Observer or Obby and I'm one of the co-founders of the group. =) I'm glad you are all here!

I've been seeing how you all have been doing amazing, supporting one another, and being kind to those that have been mean or don't quite understand your requests in this group! :) I'd like to give a friendly reminder to those that are coming into this community of the initial intent of the group. :)

Firstly, this group works! It is saddening to see individuals post on other people's posts and disrespect others and/or say that their requests don't matter. It doesn't only impact the individual you are posting it to; it is impacting others around in the community, including myself as a manager of the subreddit community. It discourages me to see others discouraged and it hurts personally when I see others hurting. Most importantly, however, I've seen that road before where you think that a screen can hide the reason you are being mean to others and it doesn't make you feel good when you realize you are hurting others. The guilt will stay with you... Whatever you may be feeling, going through, or experiencing, please try to think before you post and emojis don't make your mean response okay. Disrespecting others is still disrespecting with or without. I try to set an example in this community for others to follow, and it has since been thriving amazingly!

If you have an opinion that may be strong or could offend someone else due to something you are experiencing, please refer it to me and or check out the success that we've had so far before you make claims that can hurt others. I'm always available to listen, offer support in any way I can, and more. I want everyone to be safe, including those being mean so that eventually they may see what we do. Kindness doesn't have to be taboo or a target, it can be a place where everyone is supported like what is currently going on.

I don't like banning people, since I know everyone deserves a chance. But I've opened my arms to have the individual speak and they didn't, so I banned them from the community.

I appreciate humor and engage in it when appropriate but requesting items that someone may like, shouldn't be a laughing joke because of their circumstances. We don't know what the other person is going through, we can only be a helping hand when we are able to.

We all need to collaborate, reflect, and decide today what type of people we need to be for ourselves and others, rather than what we "want" to be. 💙 I chose to be kind to others when I didn't give others a chance before and I couldn't change the past. I chose to change the future, and this is it. I forgave those that were being mean, since they may not understand or are going through something.

I hope we can all heal from this, become stronger, and let others know that kindness triumphs. :)

Keep being awesome, stronger, resilient, and bonded to helping others without limits. :) Keep being kind in every way you can, even when people speak bad about it. Show others what kindness really means, in the most honest way possible.

I'd like to address a few things regarding a couple of new things added to the group! ^-^

New Flairs ✨

I've created two new flairs that you all can use and will be helpful to organize posts. I'll let you know how they become more organized in a second, since I just found out something today! 🤩

Someone made a great suggestion that I haven't thought about when posting proofs of gifting items to another person without needing anything in return! They suggested that we could potentially have a "Proof of Gifting" flair! 💙 I created one! Now, if your requests get fulfilled and/or a proof is posted, feel free to edit your posts' flair to the new "Proof of Gifting" so people know if your request has been fulfilled!

Another flair that I've been seeing that I forgot to add at the start of the group, is also officially here as well: "IAP Request" flair! :) Now, for those that are requesting an/a IAP can use this flair instead of the "IAP Gifting" flair. :)

Hope these new flairs are helpful! :)

Reddit Post Flair Searching ✨

Today, I was looking at how to do the flairs (as it has been a while since I changed the flairs or anything in the group) and I noticed that if you click directly on the individual flairs, it will automatically filter our posts specifically for that flair! This will help new and current people that land on the community page to filter out specific posts that they can help with, such as gifting an IAP, Season Pass, hearts, viewing our community proofs, and more, just by organizing them! :)

I just wanted to share this! Give it a try, if you'd like! It is really helpful and I never knew about this! ^-^

For instance, when you land on the home page of the community and look to your right on your screen (desktop and mobile), scroll down for desktop until you see "Community Flairs", and click on one. Once you click on one, you will see that you only see posts with that particular flair! ^-^

Hi All!

I hope you are doing well! I just wanted to give an update on a few things!

I'm thankful for everyone that makes this community what it is today! This group started in Janurary of last year and it is almost reaching its first year anniversary! I'm grateful to announce that since then, we are about to reach the 1,000 members milestone. We are currently at 971 (as of the posting of this post). :)

Since the beginning, as the group continues to grow as well as kindness in this community, many requests that otherwise wouldn't of been fulfilled have been by you all. 🥹 I know that not all requests are fulfilled and I hope that will become an achievable goal one day but I'm just grateful for the extra miles that are taken already. :) So much kindness makes my heart really happy and based on the comments when things get gifted as well, kindness all makes us more grateful for what we have than what we don't have. :)

When something gets gifted to us, it means something more with the beloved story behind it. We get new friends, connections, memories, and new adventures when we wear that item in Sky. :) Some of you all found new friends after getting gifted something or when needing to get hearts before or during a "Days of..." event. :)

You all have made this dream possible and I pray we will continue to stay strong together. 💙 I appreciate you all so much, much more than I will ever be able to say with words.

As we approach 1,000 members, I just wanted to highlight this milestone and if anyone would like to do something special for it, please feel free to do so. 💙
