Sunset Lounging Area for Nest

Hi All! =)
I hope you are doing well! I don't usually participate in Nest related posts or content since it isn't one of my interests playing Sky, after getting the Season of Carnival prop, it has piqued my interesting. I did want to ask one question, so this is my first time posting in Ink's group. Shout out to Ink for this group!

It isn't completely important, so no problem if no one finds a solution or answers! :) I'm trying to use the new Season of Carnival platforms (as seen in picture) to create a Sunset Lounging area on the top area of my Nest. It is for taking pictures and/or just hanging out with friends and/or new players. However, I haven't had much success in trying to get it to get placed.

If you all had the ability to do it, it would be really appreciated to know how it was done. :)

Disruption In Community Resolved

I hope you are doing well!

I'm really sorry for the lack of action on my part for not banning an particular member of this community sooner for the continuation of the disruption of this community. I've taken more action this time after providing this individual with multiple attempts to make up for their posts/comments without avail.

I hope this doesn't change anything and I will definitely do more in the future to make sure this doesn't happen. I just believe in multiple chances, but if it repeats like the user did, I'll have to ban them. 😞

* New Course Drop * - Season of Carnival (SOC): Tournament of Champions!

Hi All! :)

Here is the next course by u/Nela_canela_! She wanted to help so it is a community course. :) The area was already planned. Shoutout to her for an amazing course. ;)

Direction Of How to Get There: Enter Hidden Forest --> Then fly until you see the power gate on the right side (before the main area where you have the treehouse entrance) --> Circle To the left and then left again until you see the green rolling hills with the whole in the clouds that goes downward. Go down into the whole (which is shown in the first picture of where it connects to this Underground cavern) and just glide to the little area in the front like the image shows. It is ground level with the hole (portal).

Location: Underground Caverns, Hidden Forest

Time: Three Whole Days, Course ends Tuesday, May 17th.

Time Allotted For Competition: Full 4 minutes (but please submit a screenshot and your time of when you finish it to be on the leaderboard! Thank you! :))

Next (and Final) Challenge: Thursday, May 21st (When posted here!)

Twist: No twist just a challenge. ;) Exploration of the caverns

Just wanted to thank the amazing team and individuals that helped with this story and I'll be forever grateful to them! CMRM_TN and LazeZap helped created this origin story with gather memories. Shout out to LazeZap and TN for such support and amazing visual editing from start to finish!

Truly the best there is when it comes to teams. This was entered into the competition's first prompt: "My Sky Story" which was made for inspiring others. :)

* Course Drop * Details, Location, Time, Twist, etc - Season of Carnival (SOC): Tournament of Champions

Hi All!

Here is the place where the course is set up, time and specifications and slight changes.

To make things easier, please make a video of you (with or without your team) doing the challenge. The challenge name is called SKYCOTLFREETRADING Challenge #1 <--- Whole name (Near the opening on the left side of where you enter between the two large cliffs in the picture). I won't be able to attend, so video or screenshot would be gratefully appreciated.

Direction Of How to Get There: Once you go through the Daylight Prairie realm gate, you will spawn at the area where you are in the social area (with the pond). Go backwards, where you will go to the area with open fields like in the photo provided.

Location/Realm: Daylight Prairie

Time: Starts 4 p.m. Pacific Time

Time Allotted For Competition: 3 minutes (but you may need less)

Next Challenge: (Hopefully, as this is a busy week for me) Thursday, May 14th (When posted here!)

Twist: There is a hidden target that is hidden in plain sight. If you get it, you finish the challenge!

Let the games begin and I'm excited to see the challenge completed! :)

Hi All!
I hope you are doing well! I would like to bring some attention in a particular Season Pass giveaway post that was flagged by Reddit recently and the SkyCOTLFreeTrading team and I have been looking into it.

I was wondering, for those that participated in prodbyGats's Season Pass giveaway (the one where they were offering to give four within 24 hours to random people through rounds), were you all contacted by that individual at all? If not, please let me know and I can disapprove that post.

Please let me know when you all have a chance, as I'd like to get this resolved. I've contacted the individual myself, but haven't heard back and don't want anyone to get scammed or anything (not that anything was particularly paid for or anything, good thing) but does need to be addressed.

As most of you may not know, I love experimenting with emotes and I just wanted to share a few things that I've learned recently when I was using my skateboard prop while with some friends. I decided to do a demo to show others, so you can do it too. :) I know that this most likely has been shared and potentially done already, but I wanted to share anyway. :) I plan to post another about the experimentations on emotes, since I find them really interesting! One in particular is my favorite. :)

May’s contest starts today! We will be accepting submissions until May 14 and then voting will be held starting May 15th.

Details about this month’s contest

This month's theme is "See you in Disguise 🥸", where we will camouflage ourselves amongst the creatures, plants, and elements in the realm of sky! Here are some examples from the mods 😁

(No, you’re not just imagining it, the darkness tree has grown some extra branches!)

(Pri in disguise as a previously undiscovered winged light in Prairie Peaks.)  

NOTE: The first image in your post will be the one that gets voted on, so craft your image carefully!

If your sky kid submission is wearing or using ANY IAPs, cosmetics, or spells that are OLDER than 1 year, then you must flair your post as a 'Veteran'.

If your sky kid is ONLY wearing cosmetics available within the last year, you must flair your post as a 'Moth'.

See this post for the full list of Moth Cosmetics. Anything not listed is therefore a Veteran Cosmetic

There will be 1 winner per category and the winners will get $25 USD worth of IAPs.

Details about the new selection process

The Winners will be chosen based on a weighted score from a panel of judges and the amount of poll votes. The judges' scores will account for 70% of an entry's total score and general votes will count for the remaining 30%.

Panel Judges will be selected from a pool of the past year's winners. Judges will score each entry on a scale of 1 to 5 for the following criteria:

  • Following the contest theme and rules
  • Outfit uniqueness
  • Outfit balance/colour scheme
  • Photo composition (background, pose, artistry [ignore image resolution/quality])
  • Overall impression of the entry

General voting will remain the same.

We can't wait to see what you all come up with!
