Hi All!

I hope you are all doing well! Just wanted to share something I experienced today that I hope others get to experience as well but this wasn't planning. :) There are always kind people out there and this is one moment even if it isn't large in gesture. :)

I was going to Grandma and in no hurry, I decided to have some fun and bring my Disco prop I bought yesterday to share with others at Grandma. Personally, it always felt awkward standing there while waiting for wax so I wanted to hopefully introduce a fun atmosphere while we waited. Didn't anticipate anyone would join in but people did to my surprise! I was quite happy since I love sharing my props, having people use my hammock, Season of Blue Bird post season tree to relax, squish my heart plush from Days of Love, etc. :) I try to share everything if people don't have it or feel similarly. I lit some people after this video and it was really cool! One other players also started playing music under the Disco lights and another just relaxed by laying down. :)

I hope you are all doing well! Sorry for the late reminder as I lost track of time. I'll try to not have it happen again. Been busy. 😅

Friendly reminder, we are having out next Treehouse Days event on July 5th starting at reset and every three hours afterwards! I'll log on every now and then to help you all wherever I can! :) We also have others too! =)

The meeting area is the campfire in the Treehouse and/or just wait in the Treehouse to reach out to other people! =) Feel free to make a post in this group as well and/or bring a table prop to talk with others!

Isaac is a fellow Sky player like you and me, and wanted to share a story with you all to inspire others. Through the unlikely of places, he was called back on an adventure where he eventually learned personal growth, patience during Sky trials, and the meaning of friendship that was forged along the way. Thankful for the friends that he has, his story is a testimony of the lessons that can be learned in Sky.

I'm thankful and grateful for Isaac that wanted to share his story. He deserves all of the credit, and I hope he provides hope to others that are struggling with friendships and/or trying to find a purpose.

With the help of Isaac and his story, TGC posted his story on their Creator Space Instagram to help highlight and reach more of an audience to inspire others. I hope you are doing well! Days of Color is coming up and instead of doing our usual monthly giveaway, we've decided to come up with a new and hopefully fun activity that encompasses the upcoming "days of..." event but open it up to everyone!

Whether you celebrate or don't celebrate Days of Color, we are opening to everyone who is diverse in culture, heritage, and everyone in-between! ^-^ We have a lot of fun activities planned, so watch out for how you can participate! ^-^

The event starts on May 29th, 2026, on Days of Color and ends when Days of Color ends!

Some of the activities already planned:

- Dye collection competition (Collecting dye that rain down at the event)

- Kite dyeing competition

- Showcase of heritage, cultural, and/or Days of Color outfits & Take a group photo

- And more...

Like all events we host, there will be prizes involved! Hi all!

I hope you are doing well! Here are both the pros and cons of the new updates in Aviary. This is to help bring some clarity between the functionality and disfunctions following the new update. This is a post that is aimed to be as neutral as possible.

On May 26th, 2026, TGC integrated the new Aviary update that was set for this particular day which was announced about a week prior. All of the changes were captured in the Patch notes that was later sent out to players to view. Not only were some of the changes happening to fix bugs in the game but it also was aimed at changing the look and feel of Aviary home.

Mixed feelings have flooded the Sky community as fear and excitement comes with some costs. Here are some of the functionalities and aesthetic changes that have been changed:

*-- Aesthetics --*

Placement of Cafe

The cafe has been moved from near the end of the portals (where the Eden portal still stands) to close to the meditation and furniture stores in Aviary to the front near the spawning gate. Spirits for collecting dailies during game seasons are still active to give players daily requests. The place where the cafe once stood in the previous Aviary design has been filled and only the meditation area in that region still remains in that same prior to the update.

Livelier Spirits

For some players wishing for a more comfortable, cozier, and interactive environment in Aviary between some of their favorite spirits, the update includes being able to interact with spirits through emotes and friendship trees.

Placement of Main Realm Portals

With exception of Eden, all realm portals have been placed next to the front of the spawning area of Aviary. This eliminated on other previous spawning area where the portals once were near the current Eden placed one.

Cosmetic, Outfits, and Prop Changing Pods

Previously located a couple feet away from the portals before they were moved, the update moves them close the new Aviary spawning where the gate is, overlooking the Sky player's Nest structure and the Cinema. An arch separates the portals with the changing pods.

Cinema Relocation

The cinema relocation was changed from near the originally place cafe (across the cafe), little more than halfway between the Aviary village gate and the portals where Eden's still stands. The cinema has now been relocated to the right of the Nest for easier accessibility.

Smaller Aviary Land Size

The updated included removing the open area that was originally allocated for the portals and changing area. This area was scaled down in the update filling the space between land and Eden portal with clouds.

Aviary Cave Relocation

Previous located on the right side of the portals in the old version and behind the changing pods, this was also moved not removed to bring it towards the front near the Aviary gate near the spawn area.

Two Spawn Areas Now One

Previously known for having two spawn areas, one for people who have Aviary be their permanent home and the other near portals for homes other than Aviary, like Nest spawn or Prairie Peak home, it has been fixed to one spawn area that all players will use.

Shops Locations

Other shop locations, with exception for the Sky shop that showcases in-game purchases like the Journey outfit and Moth outfit when circulated which was merged in the Dye Shop, have stayed the same location since the update.

*-- Functionalities --*

Seasonal Candles Signal Realm

Seasonal Candles now signal which realm they will be found in and where the dailies are for the day. This functionality is aimed to help new players as they adventure the world of Sky.

Refreshed Friendship System for Player-to-Player

Like the previously beta tested friendship systems utilized for the spirits, TGC has integrated it into the new player-to-player systems to help streamline capturing of emotes to react with friends. Players will now be able to unlock certain types of emotes easier and more selectively. This allows players to have some flexibility. Overall, feedback from players has made it where people are satisfied with this system, as the system works just like the seasonal spirits.

*-- Revamp of Aviary --*

Players will notice multiple changes upon enter the revamped Aviary, some of which will side with not particularly understanding the new changes, while others will see some new advantages.

Here are some of the pros and cons of the new changes:

Like everything, there are pros and cons to everything, such as some players feeling that the aesthetics makes Aviary feel emptier while others feel that it creates a cozy vibe.

Some of the pros to the new changes that TGC envisioned, according to the patch notes, were to streamline the system of spawning, dailies collection, and realms. When you spawn from anywhere else other than Aviary, you will appear in one place rather than two (near the gate and near the originally place portals). This can help when you are trying to locate friends (though the spawn near the portals in the previous version still worked perfectly).

Aesthetically, these changes made the area smaller, causing concern for some players that wish to play with their friends or just relax in the open spaces. This makes it appear as though the outer limits of Aviary may not be entirely utilized a whole lot, making the furniture and the dye shop not as accessible if all of the portals are at the front.

Functionally, with portals, cafe, and the changing pods relocated, some advantages that TGC saw was to streamline the time it takes to get from the spawn area (if you spawn from the gate side to get to your dailies, it takes around 20 seconds running to get to the cafe then another 5 or so seconds to get to the portals after receiving the dailies [without changing your outfit]) but the new area allows of players to get their dailies in around 5 - 10 seconds max, then proceed to their gate and/or change their outfit with 10 more seconds to the changing pod area.

Functionality, however, with the new changes, this can discourage some individuals from going to Eden as often, as the gate is farther away than the rest and/or visiting the other buildings like shops as it would be out of the way to the actual events, like seasonal spirits, traveling spirits, and everything else.

Not pros nor cons, as the traffic would be centrally located at the new spawn area of the new Aviary.

There are pros and cons to everything, and this is just a digest of the latest updates. Which one would you choose, functionality over aesthetic or vice versa?
