I want to copy this style for part of my Dorghar but I’m have trouble picking the right color for the scales highlights. Does the community have any guesses?

Before I commit, can I get the community’s opinion on the idea for this base?
Plan on slathering the cork in mud to make it look more natural and have the bottom of the base half and half red and blue lava.
Not sure if I should keep the crescent shape on the right to keep the ruins on the island or if I should cut it out, make a divot in the island for Dorghar’s tail and have the ruins directly in the lava?
Life decided to be uncooperative and barely gave me any time to paint over the last few months. But I finally got some time to finish the first Grey Knights for my collection this week.
This was also my first attempt at making 3d lightning effects with .2mm copper wire. I highly recommend using a thicker and sturdier wire for this. While I would say they look good on this picture. The effects practically disappear at a distance.
All minis except the Tech Marine are Silver Warden STLs and were printed by Pathos Prints on IG.
