Hi, I have always loved Howard Shore’s score for the film \*The Silence of the Lambs\*. I am struck by its maturity and minimalism, tension, and restrained emotion. I would like to know more about this score : how should it be categorized in terms of style, and to which earlier or later composers or compositions can it be linked? What are the themes, as well as the compositional, harmonic, and rhythmic techniques, that give it its distinctive character ?

I recently watched Images du monde visionnaire (1963) by Éric Duvivier, featuring the mescaline experiences of Henri Michaux. While I share Michaux’s own reservations about the film’s overall execution, I was absolutely struck by the first part (the mescaline section).

Specifically, I’m looking for other films (experimental or otherwise) that capture those rapid, "shimmering" (miroitant) visual qualities: intense light streaks, frantically cut geometric patterns, vibrating optics, and a sense of pure luminous agitation. The way the film uses fast editing and optical tricks to simulate visual hallucinations really resonated with me.

Could you recommend other works that explore this specific aesthetic of light-based abstraction and flicker/scintillation? I’m interested in both classic experimental cinema and narrative films that might have sequences with a similar visual impact.

The Artist Patrick Coutin (born 1952) is a French journalist (formerly for Rock & Folk), writer, and producer who became an accidental rock icon. Unlike his new wave contemporaries, Coutin rejected synthesizers, drawing inspiration from his time in the US and 1960s Anglo-Saxon rock to create a raw, guitar-driven sound.

Salut, je suis demandeur d’emploi à l’ASS depuis deux ans et j’ai créé mon entreprise de photographe en auto-entrepreneur l’année dernière mais ça ne marche pas, j’ai fais 50€ de chiffres d'affaires en un an ☹️; j’avais demandé l’ACRE. Il y a un truc que je n’ai’pas bien compris : au bout de 12 mois je suis censé perdre tous mes droits à l’ASS chez France Travail, mais c’est pareil pour le RSA?

Salut, j'ai vu une annonce d'une agence immobilière pour un studio de 21m2 à 460€ de loyer mensuel; l'agence m'a renvoyé un lien d'un dossier Garantme à remplir. J'ai 660€ de revenus aux minimas sociaux un garant solide (mon père retraité avec 2100€ de revenus mensuels) : est-ce trop peu pour constituer un dossier de location? Car du coup j'hésite à remplir le dossier et à prendre la location à mon nom pour laisser mon père le louer au sien.

P.S.: c'est une location dans une grande ville avec un fort taux d'attractivité où je pense décrocher rapidement un boulot au smic (type agent polyvalent chez Action).
