Foam blocks behind plaster so I don’t have space for the timber batten method. I bought some expanding foam but I’m a bit unsure how to go about it and whether I should still use the existing plasterboard cut out. Any tips or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Few things came up during annual service of my VW Golf and it’s looking like the most urgent matter is the timing belt and water pump needs to be replaced. I was given an estimated quote for the repairs. Should I shop around or does this look reasonable?
I have around €30k in savings that I’ve been drip feeding into a BOI regular saver accounts to avail of the 3% interest rate and the rest in other accounts with similar interest rates with instant access. Ultimately I’m waiting impatiently for the new tax free Investment Savings account to come in with the current government. Is State Savings worth looking into?
Set up a BOI supersaver account recently and I set the direct debit date as the 2nd of the month. Well earlier today they unexpectedly took the first debit putting my PTSB account into the minus. I quickly transferred money from my Revolut which brought it back to normal. I’m just wondering if anything will come from this? Will a missed direct debit show on any kind of credit report or will I have to pay any kind of charges with PTSB?

The tv is a 77” LG G4. I originally bought the 65 inch (had it boxed for ages while I was getting stuff done in the living room) but exchanged it after bringing it home as the online rtings tool said it was too small for my viewing distance (~3.5 metres)
