I’m so over everything being expensive

To be clear my partner and I make decent money to lead a comfortable life. However, I feel like our expenses are just going up and we’re starting to feel the pinch. leisure things in particular are becoming almost unaffordable.

Something as basic as my kid’s diapers used to cost like 1.5k for a 90 piece pack. That’s now over 2k. My dog who has a lot of allergies is on veterinary food that costs like 8k a month. This was only about 5k last year. Our kid is not in school yet, but that will be another expense soon because school fees for kg these days is higher than my complete college fees. Then we have the usual stuff- petrol, gas, water and electricity bills that are sky high. Real estate prices just keep going up even if people aren’t buying and if you want to rent- good luck finding a decent apartment in a gated community for less than 50k minimum.

Coming to the more leisure things and stuff right off the top of my head- Whey protein prices are bloody insane. I remember the whole truth and ON costing like 3.5k. Now they’re almost 5k or more. WTF? If you want to go on a vacation, the flight charges to places like Vietnam that used to cost around 12-14k one way costs like 25k-40k one way now and airlines want to hike up the prices further??? If you look at domestic- the prices are as high as international. So, that looks difficult too. When do we ever get any respite from these crazy high prices? Our salaries are not increasing fast enough to keep up.

I know this is everyone’s condition and there’s not much we can do about it. And I also acknowledge that I’m privileged and better off than many in this country for whom even basic stuff may be inaccessible. I’m not trying to be an ungrateful snob. But I’m just so sick of this. It’s like we just can’t breathe anymore without a new expense coming up.

Thanks for listening to my rant.

Got my account back but not able to post or edit profile

My original account u/closet_writer09 was hacked and banned 5 days ago. It is finally recovered today. I changed the password as advised and am able to see my account on the web browser (chrome) with a warning on top saying that my account is banned and to check inbox for more information. I’m not able to post/ comment/ participate in any sub and I’m still unable to log into the app (iOS).

The hacker had marked my account as NSFW and added a bio and social links like OF. I’m not able to remove any of this. It says an error has occurred and that I should try again later. Can someone please help me with this? What should I do?

Detergent/ soapy residue on dishes after auto cycle in series 6 dishwasher

I have a Bosch series 6 15 place setting dishwasher that I bought a week ago. I’m having a hard time figuring out how much detergent I should be using in my machine. We generally run the machine in auto mode 2 times a day. At night if the load is small I use the half load function on auto. Generally I add 15-20ml of detergent for each cycle. Rinse aid and stuff is all topped up.

I’ve been noticing that my dishes don’t properly dry in the machine. There is some sort of clear soapy feeling residue on some of the dishes and sometimes I’ve noticed actual white detergent residue on my utensils. I end up having to rinse them again and it’s quite annoying. I’ve been wondering what I’ve been doing wrong- like is my detergent quantity off? I’m confused and would really appreciate some advice. TIA!
