I want to move up within my unit and make more money, simply just grow professionally since I feel stuck and bored in my current role (not to mention the pay isn't great AND theres 0 overtime). The civil exam I need to move up hasn't opened up in about 2 yrs and I know things work differently in the public sector but can I just talk to the director of my unit about a promotion vs waiting for an exam to open up?

I'm also looking into other jobs but it would just be easier to move within my unit.

I want to book it but I do know they work on commission and don't want someone gaslighting me into buying stuff that doesn't look right or wasting someone's time if I don't like the stuff.

Anyone have good experinces?

Ive been trying to find help for a while and keep hitting a wall. I even reached out to EAP and that ended up being a waste of time (told me finding help with city insurance was difficult and ghosted me?..)

Anyways, I just wanted to know if anyone has been lucky to find a good practice and/or therapist? Im really going through a lot and the search has been exhuasting so Id appricate any recs.

I had a bad experince the first time I used my dental insurance and now that I have a horrible tooth ache I don't want to relive it.

It seems like a lot of the providers don't answer the phones or have 1 star reviews so Im curious, if you like your dentist where do you go?

Sorry for the caps BUT, I need sock recs. I ride mt bike often and all my socks with cushion get run down quick.

I typically get Aritzia socks (i know it's not "workout" socks but i love the cushion) and Nike but I'm curious what else everyone is wearing.

Someone recommended Bombas but I can't justify paying $50 for 4 socks

finally LOL. i got into a live class with Camilla which is one of my fav instrutors. Im suprised there was space but i'm not questioning miracles.
