I would appreciate if people who got into med school through this path can respond. There's misinformation around this where it's being said that medical schools "look down upon" which creates confusion. If online education was not accepted then it would've been clearly stated in the requirements on website and elsewhere. For example, Ottawa and SK medical school do mention that they don't accept online/distant learning.
Feeling lonely on this pre-med journey as a non-trad guy in his 30s. Anyone in the same boat?
Sometimes I wonder why I chose this path at this point in my life. However, I am committed because I've thought about it very carefully. I'm lucky that I don't have responsibilities like a mortgage or a family, unlike others my age. I just wish there was support available so I could talk to someone.
