Does my coworker seem interested or is he just being friendly? I Have a crush on him

I recently joined a new workplace and there's a guy sitting near me who I find attractive. I'm trying not to overthink things, so I'd like some outside opinions.

On my first day he barely talked to me, just asked if I was a fresher. But over the next few days we've started talking more. He asks me questions about my training, explains work to me, checks if I understand things, and tells me not to take stress because I'm new.

He's also helped me get a chair when mine was taken, moved someone's bag for me, and once made sure I got my tea when I didn't know the tea person had come.

He smiles a lot when we talk, sometimes seems to look toward my desk, and today while I was talking to my TL I noticed him looking at my face even though I wasn't talking to him. At one point I was talking to him and pushed my glasses up with two fingers, and he had this big smile like he was trying not to laugh and then broke eye contact. He asked me if I'm overwhelming from work.

We also joke/laugh about small things at work.

I know all of this could simply mean he's a friendly/helpful coworker, and I'm not saying he definitely likes me. I just want an outside perspective: does this sound like normal coworker friendliness, or could there be some interest?

Should I leave my family home and move out?

I’m 21F and honestly exhausted with my family situation. My younger brother is 10 years younger than me and has trouble doing things independently. He screams a lot for seemingly no reason, and I’ve sometimes slapped him on the back out of frustration, which I know I shouldn’t do. My mom always takes his side, and it feels like she takes his side in everything.

Today my chachu came downstairs, started screaming at me, verbally abused me, and tried to hit me. His son then came and threatened me, saying I shouldn’t raise a finger at his father. I didn’t want things to become physical. My dad is also narcissistic.

My mom also recently had a leg fracture and is still recovering, so I feel guilty about leaving while she needs help. At the same time, I’m completely mentally exhausted and just want peace and independence but i don't have money or somewhere to stay.

Would it be wrong to eventually move out and live on my own? Should I wait until my mom has recovered, or start planning to leave now?

I don't feel safe around my father and I don't know what to do

I’m 21F and I live with my parents. I’ve had several situations with my father where his touch made me uncomfortable. I never thought of it as something “criminal,” but it has made me uncomfortable and I’ve started feeling unsafe around him.

Today my mom told him I was showering and the bathroom/room door was closed. He knows not to enter when I’m showering, but he opened the door anyway. This has happened twice. I screamed at him and told him not to do it.

I told my uncle about it, and he said he would talk to my father. But I don't feel like that's enough because I genuinely don't feel safe around him anymore.

When I told my mom that I wanted to tell my cousin brother, she became very upset and said she would die because she already has health problems. I now feel trapped between protecting myself and worrying about my mother.

I don't know if I'm overreacting, but I don't want to ignore how uncomfortable and unsafe I feel.

What should I do? Should I tell another family member and make arrangements so I'm not alone with my father? I would really appreciate advice from people who have experienced something similar.

Title: Trapped at home, caring for a parent, failing my professional exams, and losing my sanity. How do I survive this?

Hey everyone, I really need a space to vent and get some advice from people who might understand what I’m going through.

I’m currently preparing for my professional exams (CMA), but I recently failed Group 2. I was already struggling with severe anxiety and feeling completely lost about my future, but my home environment makes everything ten times worse.

My home is toxic and constant fighting is the norm. Whenever I show any vulnerability or emotion, my parents shift all the blame onto me. I feel like I'm constantly walking on eggshells, and the environment is giving me overwhelming anxiety and depression. I can't find a single moment of peace.

To make matters worse, my mom recently suffered a fracture and is on strict bed rest for the next month. I’ve essentially become a full-time caregiver overnight. I can’t leave the house, go to a library, or physically escape the tension here even for a few hours.

I feel completely trapped, exhausted, and stuck. I want to clear my exams and build a life for myself, but between full-time caregiving, family drama, and mental burnout, I don't know how to keep going.
