I am 16 days PO from a breast lift and slight reduction side with augmentation. My right sides (the one reduced a bit) has an opening. I know they’re coming and my surgeons been notified and says they’re watching it via my portal where I upload police daily (I live 5.5 hrs away)…. They’ve instructed I shower daily and wash with mild soap with my hand carefully, coat it generously with aquaphor then keep gauze on. It has been opening up a little more daily and even though they say it’s fine I’m SO scared. I’m beyond stressed about this and just looking for support. I’m terrified it will keep getting bigger everyday until something bad happens 🥺

Correct asymmetry and implants as well due to not being left with much after. Since PO day 1 my previous large side was still bigger and surgeons office said it might be swelling as it had more work done. It also had significant bruising but they assured me it was normal and it did get better. I had to see the surgeon yesterday and travel the 5 hrs one way because I had some leakage on the right breast that they needed to make sure wasn’t the beginning of an infection. Infections with implants are a big deal, they said if I developed an internal infection the implants must be removed so we weren’t taking chances. They removed my taped and all looks good aside from my right ride T junction that has what they are calling “superficial breakdown”. They said they aren’t worried about infection and they put all new tapes on except for the base of my right breast. They said to keep it clean, apply aquaphore and gauze daily and keep an eye on it with the goal of the leaking to stop in a couple days. I drove home and last night experienced very dark blood leaking from the area which to me looks like a hole but again they say superficial breakdown. I was pretty alarmed as it was significant in the amount atleast to me. In reality probably 1-2 tablespoons. Of course I let them know and they want me to upload my dressing changes in my portal with pics to monitor the draining and my “wound”. They said they think it’s old bruising escaping from the opening from the bruising. I’m doing what they asked. This morning it’s still leaking the dark blood. Anyways…. Has anyone experienced this? Looking for positive stories or encouragement here as I’m worried sick. The surgeon today says “we need to make sure that area doesn’t open up more and expose the implant” of course that scared me!!!!!! I am sure he is just letting me know what to look out for. Another thing is that dang right boob is still bigger than the other and I’m feeling heartbroken…. That was my entire reason for the surgery was to correct that! 😢

Hi, I am 3 days post op breast asymmetry correction. We did a reduction on one side, lift in both and then 370 low profile implants. I know right now the implants are high and tight but wanted some advice ….. I guess I’m worried once things settle , that I’ve gone too small? I didn’t want big ole boobie but… idk I guess right now it seems the tissue I have below the nipple is so minimal. And I worry when the implant drops I won’t have any upper pole fullness. Can anyone relate to my early 3 day post op pics??? My right ones also bigger still which has me worried but maybe swelling because that one also needed reduced slightly?? Please excuse the blurry areas, wanted to blur out my tattoos for privacy reasons. Thanks
