Hi Frenchie Fam, I’ve posted my sweet boy Lemmy in this sub before but sadly am brought here under different circumstances today. I should preface by saying that he’s only been with me since mid April, after his previous owners surrendered him, and given his excitement when I grab his leash (still to date, despite going out a minimum of 5 times a day) I don’t think he spent much time outside. He’s now fully toilet trained, when before he was confined to only an apartment with a small balcony (why do people get dogs if they aren’t prepared to walk them 😠), and absolutely loves running around in the grass with his puppy friends.
While his quality of life has no doubt improved, a few weeks ago I noticed that his hair was starting to thin around his ears, which I thought at first I was maybe imagining, until I noticed it spread to under his armpits and now belly, where it seems to be increasing in area. I’ve taken him to the vet, who swabbed him to test for mites ect (all negative), and prescribed a course of oral steroids and a bi weekly wash. I’ve noticed his scratching has minimised, but he still seems to be losing hair 😭
I’ve read these lil gremlins have super particular dietary requirements, and have discussed putting him on a hypoallergenic diet with his vet.
Just wondering if anyone has gone through a similar issue and can provide any advice or insight? For context, we live in NSW Australia in a semi urban area and go to the beach occasionally too.
I’d die if my guy loses all his hair before we figure out what the cause is, so any advice is greatly appreciated.

okay something I feel is worth discussion is the constant larping around the basemental mod by sims 4 players, to the point it had even me a 20+ year sims 2 girly questioning my decision to return to the game or move on to sims 4.
After modding my game to the absolute max I’ve come to the conclusion, there is absolutely NOTHING sims 4 can ever have on sims 2. Want an open world vibe? Literally build all the building you want and see your map come to life. With all the 4t2 conversions, lighting and camera hacks you can literally have the aesthetics of the modern franchise with the classic charm and the perfection that is sims 2.

Yes, no doubt the guy is a phony and obviously is indulging all of this for his ego with no actual spiritual principles or foundations, but with the whole emphasis on giving everything away and living off grid when he first left the US I’m genuinely so confused.
I thought the conscious community was all about protecting from negative frequencies, namely those cause by WIFI, blue tooth radio ect (EMFS) and while yes the disciples were arguably not the brightest bulbs I genuinely wonder what story he spun to make them overlook what I thought would be one of the most obvious ways to denounce your connection to the modern world.
