So i stumbled upon this fact a while ago and it got me thinking, who had the biggest impact on music?
This question does not relate to popularity, but more so who changed the trajectory music took in the future the most?

I’ve been a fan of Kate Bush for a while now, so naturally I tend to get videos about her on social media platforms like Tiktok or Instagram. But a trend i’ve been noticing is that people seem to dislike- or even hate- Kate Bush. For example i’d get videos of people covering a song of hers, then the comments would say that they sang it better than kate ever could. I’d also get videos of people confused on why kate ever even became popular in the first place because of how horrible she sounds. Then there are people who hate Kate just for the sake of hating her.
Idk this just confuses me, she’s an inspiration to so many people and managed to live down an incredibly impressive career without any controversies.
My taste in music is pretty basic, these are my favorite albums though!! I don’t really know how to look for new artists/music by myself so I hope anyone can give me recommendations based on these 😭

Researching for this was honestly really fun, one thing I realized throughout all this is how good Kate Bush is at being private haha.
