Postcards & Stamps

During our visit to the beautiful island next week, we would look forward to send postcards home & to our close ones from Ko Samui.

1- Shops to buy Tourist Postcards & stamps

2- How is the scene like in Ko Samui post offices?

Scooter / Bike Rental

Hello Friends,

Visiting the beautiful island mid May. I would like to know about scooter/motorbike rentals.

1- What should be a fair price per day for renting a scooter / motorcycle.

2- I have my International Driving Permit (IDP) & travel insurance handy, last time I went to Phuket no one asked for it, how strict is the same here?

3- What is the standard practice wrt deposits? Is it ok if I deposit my IDP instead of Passport?

4- Do rental shops provide helmets for both rider & pillion?

5- Is it advisable to book rentals directly through hotel front desk or better to check out in the market directly?

Sharing the steps (refer other pics).

1- Used a mix of Starbucks Kenyan Roast Beans & Trung Nyugen Vietnamese Coffee beans (3:1 ratio).

2- Grind it in a blender to rock-salt like consistency.

3- Add 1 TBSP powder (for 1 cup) & add just enough water to make the coffee sit & give a gentle stir after you see the coffee bubbling

4- Pour upto 350-400 ml of water & cover the lid (don't press yet).

5- Let this sit for 4 mins , better set a timer to track.

6- After 4 mins slowly press the plunger till you touch the bottom.

7- Quickly pour the coffee into a cup.

8- Add sugar, frothing milk or have it black as per your liking.

Enjoy your coffee!! Thank me later.
