Clearly worn a lot by the previous owner, the seconds hand is replaced and the hour hand is barely holding it together (I'm scared the lume will break off and fall into the day/date window)

I've heard the 7s26 shares hands with the NH35 as well making hands easier to source, still haven't been able to find ones online :(, any suggestions would be really helpful

After checking the serial number, its a 2015 January made watch with a 7S26C, somehow keeps time a lot better than my citizen with a 8200 movement, needs a service tho.

The plan is to buy a bunch of non-working 7s26 watches and try to fix them and then maybe eventually using that knowledge, do a full service on this one.

Looking to pass on this gorgeous Timex Marlin Jet Quartz to make room for something new. I wasn't wearing this enough to justify keeping it but it's a gorgeous piece that completely nails the retro-futuristic 1960s aesthetic.

I’ve only worn it a couple of times, so the brushed stainless-steel case and the nylon strap are in pristine, Mint condition.

There is one tiny, barely noticeable scratch on the domed crystal(near 4'o ). Because this model uses an acrylic crystal this is prone to scratches but a quick two minute buff with polywatch or shiner will completely erase it and have it looking factory-new.

Hey everyone! I recently got my first set of watchmaking tools and decided to finally dive into disassembly right at my college dorm desk. 🏫 I picked up these three vintage watches dirt cheap to serve as my first project pieces: an HMT Kohinoor, an HMT Pilot, and a vintage Citizen. ⌚

First lesson learned: tweezers and tiny screws are a deadly combination. 🤦‍♂️ I spent half the night at 3 AM crawling around searching for parts that pinged off into the void. I basically had to overhaul my entire room just to find them! 🔦🔍

After surviving the chaos and inspecting the movements, here is the verdict:

HMT Kohinoor: The pallet fork is broken and needs to be reset with shellac. 🔬

HMT Pilot: The mainspring is completely snapped. 💥

Citizen: I found an issue with the pallet wheel, but honestly... I definitely broke some extra parts while taking it apart, and I don't think I can ever assemble it again. RIP to the Citizen. 😭🪦

Since this is my first time doing this, I'm a bit stuck on the next steps for the survivors. Does anyone have tips on applying shellac for the HMT pallet fork, or recommendations on where to source a replacement mainspring for the Pilot? ⚙️ Any advice for a beginner trying not to destroy any more movements (or lose any more screws) would be hugely appreciated! 🙏
