I’m currently in the market for a compact SUV in the UAE and would really appreciate some honest feedback from owners here.
Yesterday I visited multiple showrooms including Geely, Jetour, Haval, Kia, Skoda, and Toyota to compare options in a similar budget range. While Toyota clearly stands out for reliability and resale, I honestly felt that the mid-range models are quite basic for the price and didn’t really feel premium or feature-rich when sitting inside.
After checking everything, I’m now leaning strongly towards the Geely Coolray GF variant. It seems to offer a lot in terms of features, performance, and overall driving feel for the price.
However, before making a final decision, I’d love to hear from actual UAE owners:
- How has your experience been with the Coolray GF so far?
- Any issues with reliability, service, or parts availability?
- How is the AC performance in peak UAE summer?
- Real-world fuel efficiency and maintenance costs?
- Would you recommend going for it, or should I still consider alternatives?
I drive quite a bit daily, so long-term ownership experience matters to me.
