I have a handheld gaming device that has a removable 85 Wh battery. I also have 3 spares for it. This statement is confusing, can I bring more than 2 in my bag? Or do I need to give 1 to my wife to bring?
I have a 12 hour flight in October I am trying to prepare for. I plan to bring a handheld gaming device which has a detachable battery that is 85 Wh. I want to bring multiple spares to swap out when the battery dies, but I am confused by this language. Can I only bring 2 spare batteries on with me? Does the 15 mean that 13 would have to be in my checked bag? I thought they didn't want batteries in checked bags.
I understand this is a very new device with a brand new APU, but the latest releases are supposed to support Panther Lake.
I have installed SteamOS on AMD handhelds and PC's alike, so I am familiar with the process. I get the code loading with the green "welcome to steamOS" and then it eventually gets to a timeout loop.
Has anyone had any luck installing it on this device?
I have installed it on multiple other devices, so I am familiar with the process, but I can't get it to finish the install on the Claw 8 EX. It will show the code starting and the "Welcome to SteamOS" but it won't even boot to the desktop mode to finish the install. It keeps getting stuck on a timeout loop.
If you got it to work, what image are you using? I have tried multiple versions with no success. I am also using a freshly wiped SSD that I swapped into the device.
Got a HotStock Notification about 25 minutes ago but I was using my iPad, so auto buy didn't work. Went to the site and it was showing coming soon again.

Micro Center has had this on sale for $2999, but mine hasn't had it in stock. I'm going on a work trip where there is another MC that had it in stock. I was hoping the price would hold out, but saw the price back to normal today.
Has anyone had luck getting Micro Center to honor a previous sale price?
I ordered mine through Best Buy, but they only have 1 option. From the ASUS website "R1 comes in two IPD sizes, covering 95% of consumers(from 57 and to 75 mm)"
I asked on the ASUS stream showcase if there are 2 sizes and the guy said there is only 1. I have an IPD of 74, my hope was that it comes with inserts or something to change the size.
Just picked them up and the IPD maxes at 69. The image is okay, but it gets noticeably better in one eye if I shift it one way or another. I guess I will return these and hope for a later release of the larger version.
