BIG PROBLEM HERE
Need Help Regarding FAST-NUCES Lahore Admission & Merit Lists
Hi everyone,
I'm really confused about the admission process and would appreciate some guidance.
My only campus preference was FAST Lahore.
My program preferences were:
- CS
- DS
- AI
- Cyber Security
- SE
Unfortunately, I wasn't selected in any of these programs in the first merit list. However, I'm currently eligible only for the management programs (BSBA/BBA).
My aggregate is 70.10% (Computing + Business Test).
My confusion is:
- Should I secure my seat in BSBA right now and then wait for the 2nd or 3rd merit lists in case I become eligible for Data Science or any of my higher preferences?
- Or should I wait without paying/confirming BSBA and hope that I get into DS in the next merit lists?
Also, if I don't secure my BSBA seat before the deadline (26 July), will I still remain eligible for the management programs in the 2nd or 3rd merit lists, or will I lose that opportunity completely?
Has anyone been in a similar situation or knows how FAST handles this? I'd really appreciate any clarification.
