I live near a lake that is supposed to have some good pike in it but it’s unlike any pike water I’ve fished. The entire shoreline is steep rocky drop off, very clear water, and literally no weeds at all. I didn’t see an underwater plant or lily pad anywhere on the lake. I’m thinking deep diving rapalas and spinners. Any other tips or lure recommendations?
I have been working on setting up my guitar for drop tunings — heavier strings, action, truss rod and pickup adjustments. It’s kind of a pain in the ass honestly and I might have to file the nut which most people recommend taking to a shop as it has its hazards.
Can I just use an octave pedal? I’m not playing gigs any time soon, this is purely for my own amusement.

Hi all. I have a cheap Ibanez SA series that I want to outfit for lower tunings down to about Drop C tuning. I know I need thicker gauge strings for this but what else should I alter about the setup to best accommodate lower tunings? Should I raise the action? What bridge styles should I consider? Anything helps!
