My rats trying corn on the cob for the first time!

The cage is empty because I'm cleaning, they don't just have a box (but sometimes they may as well)

I think I've taken it a bit too far

It's my first time having benefits(100% coverage) and as I have both acne and rosacea, I took the opportunity to try things that were previously unaffordable. BUT we're hoping to move sometime this year, so instead of getting it just as needed like a normal person, I've been getting them refilled whenever I can. I think it's time to stop refilling the tret(or maybe it was already time months ago) but I'll be getting as much as the Rosiver as I can since it's nearly $300 and I go through it a lot faster. Anyway, here's my crazy lady stash drawer.

It's not perfect but it's progress

1 year on OM 1.25mg and now I'm on 3 months of OM 2.5mg. The dread shed after upping my dose was even worse than the initial one. I lost a bit of progress but now that I'm through it, I'm feeling super hopeful!

And yes, the extra hair growth is affecting my face and the rest of my body as well. Unfortunate, but I'd rather shave my face than be bald (I could not pull it off)

4 months!

Different lighting because I'm a fool and took my before photos in natural lighting, but my bathroom lighting has always been less flattering anyway. I had some pretty substantial purging on my left cheek, so I've got some PIE but luckily the acne has cleared up.

AM

Just sunscreen - Beauty of Joseon

PM

Oil cleanse - Hada Labo Gokujyun Cleansing Oil (but switching to Kose because it has been discontinued)

Second cleanse - Cerave foaming oil cleanser

Hada Labo perfect gel

Rosiver (ivermectin topical for rosacea)

(Later) Retin A micro gel 0.04% (every night or almost every night)

This is the ideal rex body. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.

I love my lil old lady with her balding butt

Actually spiraling right now. How can I deal with so much loss?

My mischief is going from 5 to 3 in a matter of days. Some of you may have seen my post yesterday about losing my sweet girl Daisy. Now, I've had to make the decision to put her daughter, Lettie, to sleep tomorrow afternoon. She has a pituitary tumor that is progressing extremely quickly. Within a few days, she's gone from fairly active to barely being able to move. Even yesterday she was moving around and eating liquid foods on her own. It really pains me to make this decision, but at the rate she is declining, I don't think I can have her hold on any longer. I raised her since birth and she has always been so healthy and glowing. It feels so unfair. I know it's not uncommon to lose rats around the same time when they're all getting old together. But I've barely BEGUN to grieve her mother. I guess I'm just venting here because none of my friends have ever had rats and I think you guys would understand. I really did my best but I guess some things are just out of our control.

It's hard to believe how fast it can happen

Not even 24 hours ago she was eating her first pancake and now she's no longer with us. She was running on her wheel and everything was fine. She had a stroke a few months ago and made an amazing recovery, but it seems she had another one last night, or possibly a heart attack, that took her quickly. She died in my arms and looked very peaceful in her death.

These are some of my favorite photos of her. She was a timid but strong rat. I rescued her at 3 months old only to find out she was pregnant. She had 8 healthy babies and she was the best mama rat. I have 2 of her daughters, Sophie and Lettie, here with me still today.

I will miss you so much, my sweet Daisy ❤️
