Hotels in Maastricht are ridiculously expensive, any affordable alternatives?

Hello everyone!

I’m a Masters Maastricht student from Kuwait, and our trip is scheduled from March 14th to April 3rd.

I’ve been looking at hotels, but they’re honestly way too overpriced, and it feels like you’re not getting what you’re paying for

So I wanted to ask what other accommodation options would you recommend? Are there any affordable alternatives to hotels that I should look into?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Chances of getting approved for a visitor visa?

1- 24F (yemen national, born in kuwait)
2- employment ties to home country (kuwait)
3- masters student in Kuwait, with upcoming trip to Netherlands to study after canadian visa (have not yet finished it, must finish it in kuwait)
4- family ties here (siblings, mother and father)
5- reason to travel for tourism, and celebrate a close friend’s birthday with a friend group
6- sufficient financial balance
7- no visa rejection

DOWNSIDE?
1- not many countries traveled to (only KSA)
2- family ties are not husband or wife, just family members
3- maybe because im 24? Im not sure what other things i could get rejected for

What are my chances of getting approved for a visitors visa?

Farhat Supplements, Ninja or Becker?

Honestly im in between Farhat lectures, people said he explains stuff very simply/ while ninja seems a great alternative for becker in terms of price

Hi everyone !

I’m looking for some realistic advice on my profile and the best pathway to Canada. I’m currently a resident in Kuwait (born and raised here) but hold a Yemeni passport. Tbh, the working environment for expats here has become so difficult, and I’m focused on building a future in Canada

I have a Bachelor’s in Accounting, currently pursuing a Master’s in Management and rn im working in an administrative role

I’m trying to save as much as possible right now. I’m also looking to find remote work for Canadian companies to gain "Canadian relevant" experience while I finish my Master’s

  1. Given my Accounting degree, is it better to finish my Master's here first to boost my CRS points, or should I look into a Study Permit for a post-grad certificate in Canada?

  2. How difficult is it to get an ECA for an Accounting degree from the Middle East?

  3. Does anyone have experience as a Yemeni national navigating the Express Entry or PNP process recently?

  4. What can I do now to make my professional profile stand out to Canadian employers?

I appreciate any insight or advice you can give. Thanks you!

I’m sitting here writing this because I don’t know where else to go. I feel like I am losing my life one day at a time. I am living in a deeply religious family, in a country where I have no freedom to be who I actually am, and I’m just… done

I hate the restrictions this religion has placed on every single aspect of my existence. I want to take this hijab off. I want to breathe. I want to stop performing for a faith I no longer believe in just to keep the peace with a family that wouldn’t accept the real me.

The hardest part is that the person I love most the (person I actually want to build a future with) is in a different country. This religion and the "values" of my family are the only things standing in the way of us being together. It feels like I’m a prisoner to a belief system I didn’t choose

I’ve done everything "right" by their standards so far. I have my Bachelor’s in Accounting and I’m working on my Master’s degree right now. I’m educated, I’m capable, and I’m working hard, but none of it feels like it matters if I can’t use that success to actually leave

I just want to get out. I want to leave this country, leave this religious environment, and finally start living a life that belongs to me, not my parents or a god I don't follow

Has anyone else used their education to escape? How do you keep going when you feel like you're just acting in a play every single day? I feel like I’m at my breaking point
