Hi neighbors!

I’m a Sunnyside native and former Spanish teacher at NYC public high school. I’m currently offering 1-on-1 Spanish conversation sessions for anyone who wants to actually use the language rather than just study it.

The Approach:

• No Textbooks/No Homework: This is 100% focused on getting you comfortable speaking. 
• Real Talk: We’ll chat about current events, neighborhood life, or your hobbies—whatever keeps the conversation flowing. 
• Expert Backup: Because I studied Spanish Literature and taught in the NYC school system, I can quickly explain why something is said a certain way if you get stuck, then get right back into the flow.

 

The Details:

• Rate: $20/hour (Online only via Zoom/Google Meet). 
• Who it’s for: People who know some Spanish but feel "frozen" when it’s time to speak.
