i am an incoming life sci student, and i am going to start vovlunteering in a kingston cardiac lab. they have asked me how much time i can commit a week, so i am wondering what the norm is for first year students (i dont want to tell them a time that is way lower than the norm)?

I want to start in the winter semester, as i think i will still be settling in for the fall sem! 5 hours per week is ideal for me, but that seems like not a lot of time?

hi guys! i got leggett, and saw on the website that the rooms are carpet free however every single photo or video i can ever find of leggett has a carpet (or what to me looks like a carpet)?

does anyone know if the floors are wooden are not?

I am currently enrolled in HLTH 101, and have heard bad things about the course from last year. Was it really that bad last year, and how attainable will it be for me to get an A/A+??

I was wondering if I should switch out of this course for PHAR 100 (online) or smth else?

I did my first year course selection today, and was wondering if this was a good schedule for queens life sci or if people recommend changing anything?

I am particularly worried about GPHY 101, so pls lmk if taking that course is a good idea!!

FALL: BIOL 102, CHEM 112, MATH 130, HLTH 101, WELL 100

WINTER: CHEM 112, CISC 151, PATH 120, IDIS 199(online), GPHY 101

I want to take GLPH 171, but it isnt in the list of "first year art sci courses". I am able to add it to my shopping cart on solus though.

am i still allowed to take it as my elective even if it isnt on that list of courses?

i am planning my course selection, and am wondering if i can enroll in health sci courses for my electives as a queens life sci student?

when i look online, it shows me the art sci electives that i can enroll in, but i want to take health sci ones.

(i have heard health sci courses are super easy, and i want a few bird courses for my electives)

so i am going into first year life sci in sept. I took ap bio, and want to transfer the credit to BIOL 103, and am wondering how that works?

on college board they say they sent my score, but on solus it says i have no transfer credits yet. How do i transfer the credit?

also, how do i let the life sci facult know that i want to drop BIOL 103, and replace it with an elective? is this even possible?

hi guys! I am a life sci student joining in the fall, and want to prioritize a high gpa. i have heard BIOL 103 is hard, so I am wondering if people would recommend using my ap credit for that class, and taking an elective instead.

if i do this, would that put me at a disadvantage for my second year courses?

I have committed to Queens Life Sci for the fall. I have taken AP Biology, and am wondering if people in life sci would recommend using that credit to not take BIOL 102, BIOL 103, or both?

I committed to direct entry queens life sci for the fall, and am trying to plan out my courses in advance. I am thinking of only taking 4 courses per semester (no electives), to reduce my course load.
Will only taking 24 credits (8 courses) impact my ability to get into my second year plan (not trying to specalize btw)?
