Saving dog coat - please help

my dog passed away and I wanted to save the coat. i put it in a salt and citric acid solution. today I worked on fleshing and some of the fur is slipping.

i stopped, rinsed the coat off. trying to save as much as I can.

the fleshing is rough. lots of flesh left. just need advice on what to do to pause what I’m doing and come back at a later day.

not a lot of freezer space. I thought salt but id like some solid advice from folks with experience.

please help.

Free old clothes?

Hi all, I’m looking for any old t shirts or clothes that you’re wanting to toss to repurpose. I’m making quilts and turning old clothes into yarn to use for some of my art projects and would appreciate any donations! Stains, holes, and any color or design are alright as I’ll be dying and using them as I can.

Super appreciate any help!

Shedding dogs and supplies

Moved into a new place and am looking forward to starting fresh. This means working harder at keeping the place clean, which has always been a struggle for me.

One of my biggest issues is floors: my dog sheds. A lot. The second issue is that I have no storage for cleaning supplies.

No carpet, which is great, but Im trying to keep my cleaning supplies to a minimum if I can due to lack of space. So I’m looking for suggestions on what tool(s) I should use that would work best for sweeping and mopping. Is a vacuum mop worth it? Or would I be better off just sticking with a mop and broom? Would a flat mop work okay for me (o cedar has one that can go under the sink which I like).

Any help appreciated!
