Hey, I know this is incredibly early, but I'm in 10th grade (IGCSE) and aspire to get into HSG. I tried the admission test sample given on the website and got a total of 5/16 💀. Am I too stupid?? I am an international student.
I've been seeing online that for BIEF or BIEM the competitive scores are about 8.7/10 GPA and 1450 SAT but when I'm doing deeper research, I'm seeing that the figures are a lot closer to about 9.3-9.5/10 GPA along with a 1530-1540 SAT qnd both of those figures seem a lot more brutal. I wanna know what are the real figures if I'm applying in the early session. Could anyone who's either studying there tell me? And if yes, is life out in Milan bad if I wanna go into London?
I'm 16 years old right now and have made up my mind on going to Private Equity. I've heard multiple stories on multiple people making tens of millions by 40. But the thing is, I've asked ChatGPT how it usually goes and compared overall compensation with other careers and the numbers seemed wrong. According to it, there's barely much difference, (Eg: An average engineer at a very good firm ends up with about $5-10M at retirement and an average VP at EB or high finance corp ends up with about 15-20M. So was ChatGPT just hallucinating or is this actually the case?
