Hello, this will be my first time entering a Time trials event and I have not been able to understand where my car sits in the categories. My vehical is an 08 z06 which would put me in S1, but the car is H/C/I with headers, no cats, and coilovers. Ive reached out to scca via email and they said i should look at the max category. Having looked there and still unsure i was hoping to get some clarification here. Oh im also on a 200tw tire. Thanks
For context I took my 08 z06 to the track and over 3 sessions logged about 40 miles with the 2nd and 3rd sessions being hard driving. Now ive gotten the vehicle home and taken the spare set of wheels off ive found the tires like this. Ive never raced anything before and besides making sure I had the tires at the recommend cold and hot temps didnt think much of it besides taking the first few laps a bit easier. Will these smooth out over another hard driving session? Should I try and heat gun the material off? Thank is advance for any tips or awnsers to my questions
