Hey everyone!

I’m planning my next solo trip and I really want to learn white-water kayaking.

Since I’ll be traveling solo, I’d love to join a structured course where I can pick up the skills properly and hopefully meet some cool people along the way.

I know Rishikesh and Mulki (Shambhavi river) are pretty popular, but I’d love to get some firsthand insights from this sub.

If you’ve done a kayaking course in India, could you help a traveler out with a few details?

Where did you go & which school? (Looking for good instructors who take safety seriously).

Which course did you do? (Beginner/Crash course/Certified?)

What are the stay/food arrangements like? Do the schools provide hostel-style stays, or do I need to figure it out separately?

Roughly what did it cost you?
