Jin Kisaragi is from BlazBlue, and he came before any of the "Vergil's Daughter" memes so that means, in terms of meme, he is classified as Vergil's eldest step-son since DMC came in 2001, WAY before BlazBlue - the exact timeframe Vergil impregnated an unknown human woman and left her.

Plus, Jin's Power of Order - makes him entirely immune to spatial manipulation/phenomena intervention powers of the Four Shades of Celestia (Life, Death, Time and Space).

There's so many heavy implications. Or maybe perhaps have a connection with the legendary Onmyoji of Heian-Kyo himself?

For one thing, that tall hat (it's called "Eboshi") and ancient robes homura is wearing - basic Onmyoji gear that is similar in historical records of what Abe no Seimei usually wear. They are from a clan of exorcists or to put it in historical terms, Onmyojis. They use incantations and sealing papers in battle - traditionally called "Onmyodou" to seal Yokais and demonic spirits. Even when Tenjou fought Jin Kisaragi, she was using Onmyodou to provoke him to kill her.

It wasn't stated in-game but with the heavy connection BlazBlue has to ancient japanese myths, who's to say?

I absolutely hate harem routes where the protagonist just can't make up his mind. I remember even back in highschool, I didn't like the "Will they or won't they?" dynamic. Personally, I don't like creating alternate scenarios away from the official source material as I feel that is complete disrespect to what the author wrote himself. That is just my personal choice though, but I still respect other fans who create their own scenarios.

As for Tatsumi and Mine's relationship, the official manga delved into their relationship better and since it's in the official source material, it is the most undisputed official source written by Takahiro himself. Some fans can deny it as much as they want, but it's the undisputed official endgame pairing of the entire series and the manga. I like it and it's a good thing they became official and have kids later in the ending. The Anime is much more vague about their relationship and I understand why some fans feel it is forced. But the Anime still shows them kissing willingly (unlike Esdeath's forced kiss which constitutes as s*xual abuse btw) so Tatsumi x Mine is still the endgame official pairing since the manga has them confess and even sleeping with one another. I LOVE it and I'm glad they end up together.

As for Akame, even if she has better chemistry with Tatsumi, their relationship is more of close comrades and Akame being his cooking partner and mentor. Akame officially has no romantic feelings for anyone and Takahiro himself intentionally wrote it that way. And since Tatsumi officially and canonically chose Mine over anyone, and I personally don't like to create alternate scenarios, I would place Akame and Tatsumi pairing as just strictly platonic and close friends and nothing else.

And please don't even get me started on Esdeath. I HATE this ship with every fiber of my being because as an abuse survivor myself, she gives me the creeps! While her love is highly-implied to be genuine, she ultimately chose her evil ways over genuine love. In a comedic scenario, it's cute and funny. But realistically? It's completely one-sided (for good reason). Tatsumi tries to use her feelings for him to win her over to the side of good, but it fails. Every. Single. Time.

Again, as an abuse survivor myself, I don't respect anyone who ships Esdeath with Tatsumi because if a guy is the one doing this to a girl, you'd be disgusted. But if it's a hot woman like Esdeath suddenly it's excusable? Unless you're a Redpiller or Andrew Tate supporter, then I would understand why you would support the guy going for a much younger girl and this point, I have nothing more to say and I'll just politely take my leave.

Realistically, I understand why a lot of fans hates it. In reality, Esdeath is a s*xual predator, a groomer, a sadist, and unrepentant sociopath who enjoys slaughtering, tormenting, torturing and breaking people. She even has hyper-specific criteria for preferring boys who are younger than her whom she can groom easily. Each and every obsessive actions she does towards Tatsumi is a classic actions of a Pedophile, it just so happens that Tatsumi is legal. But legal doesn't mean consensual! That still constitutes as s*xual abuse and harrasment! It's non-consensual and just pure s*xual abuse in Anime/Manga form. She's intentionally written that way. Esdeath is most likely one of the most hyper-realistic portrayals of a s*xual predator, abuser, and sociopaths in Anime/Manga history, and it's disturbing!

She's just like those serial killers who embody the "If Evil, why HOT?!" just like the most famous serial killers of our time - Richard Ramirez and Ted Bundy. They're pure EVIL, but they have delusional fangirls who bow before them because "If Evil, Why HOT?!".
