What do you think?

Edit: this is the Aquarian deck illustrated by David Palladini

I did this little pull today to seek some clarity on my life at the moment. The spread is very loose, like a card of the day: I pulled the star first and then two more for additional context. The question was “what do I need to know to move through this difficult time?”

Left to right: the star, the hermit, seven of cups

I found this combination very interesting because of how their symbolism intertwines. I feel like there is a loud message here but I’m not quite hearing it yet.

-The star comes after a tower moment (which I’ve had) and it asks you to go inward to seek your higher self. Strengthen your intuition and heal your broken spirit. Channel strength from the seen and unseen. This has to do with Divine wisdom.

- The hermit is also asking me to go inward in terms of gaining wisdom and insight. This wisdom is from lived experience rather than a Divine source. There is a star inside the hermit’s lantern which makes me think that these two cards are working together.

- I often see the seven of cups similarly to Sylvia Plath’s fig tree. But I am not getting decision paralysis from this card in this context. It does echo back to the Rider-Waite star card for me because there are seven small stars on that card which tied into the seven cups in this context. This card is the hardest for me to interpret.

Interpretation: i feel like this is about where I am putting my energy. The cards are asking me to invest it into myself right now. I am feeling that with the work of gained healing/insight/wisdom from the two major arcana cards, I will find myself again and confidently make the right choice out of many which will set me on a fulfilling path.

- The cards numbers are 8 (17), 9, 7. They don’t appear in numerical order but it was an interesting coincidence. I am not good with numerology so any insight here would be great to have.

I am open to any/all second opinions if you’d like to share! I am forever a student of this practice and love learning from others perspectives.

Rattlesnake bite

Last night when I was closing up the coop I found a rattlesnake. This morning when I let my girls out this one has swollen waddles and a swollen eye 😢 She is eating ok (you can see the remnants of yogurt and a cherry that I fed her on her beak).

It has been well over 12 hours since she would have been bitten. I believe it must have been a dry bite otherwise she wouldn’t have survived. I am keeping a close eye on her and will separate her if she declines.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any medication that I might be able to give her? I don’t have a vet in my area that cares for chickens. Any guidance helps! For now she has electrolytes in her water and I’ve been giving her soft food.

Does my ring fit properly?

This is my first summer with my ring and I am worried that I went too small on the size. I know that finger shape and size fluctuations are a factor. But I need advice!

The first photo is from when I got engaged in November. The second photo (on gold) is now in June.

It’s not uncomfortable on but it takes more effort to take off. I feel like when I add my wedding band I will definitely have to size up.

When I tried a 4.5 in October it felt loose enough to fly off on a cold day. I went with a 4.25 but now I am second guessing my choice. Any advice appreciated 💗

Buyer reselling multiple purchases

I am new to depop and I just had an experience that feels so icky. A buyer was very pushy and talking me down on prices for multiple items. She talked like these were personal purchases telling me she was buying all my bracelets to stack. Asking over and over if I had more to sell. It felt off but I trusted her.

A week later another depop user has sent me a message that this person is reselling my stuff for 10x the price. A lot was jewelry handmade by me and carries my makers mark. She isn’t crediting the artist which is whatever. I was selling as a studio clean out. But it just feels so icky to have someone deceive me and then turn around and resell my work on the same platform.

I wholesale and I do consignment. I don’t mind my work being sold when it’s represented properly. Obviously I’m taking the L and will be more careful going forward. I’ve blocked her.

My question is: would a one star review calling out her shady behavior be a bad idea? I feel like most people would want to avoid this kind of situation and appreciate the warning.
