I need some decent restaurant options in Lahore (preferably around Johar Town) for a birthday dinner with family of around 10 people.

Last year we went to Kababjees restaurant (askari branch) it was good but I personally didn't find their food to my liking.

So i want to try something else. Looking for desi, bbq cuisines.

Don't suggest too pocket heavy options though.

I have Masalawala and Pind on my list but not really sure.

Also, if they have certain bank cards discounts available on their menu, it would be great.

I have diversified my portfolio among these:

MIIETF (Buying every 2 months)
MEBL
FFC
OGDC
ENGROH
LUCK
SYS

So let me explain what I was initially doing. I'm still learning, it's my 3rd month so please don't judge harshly, I honestly want to learn.

I'm currently investing 15k per month. It's the beginning and I'm new, so I want to grab a hold of how things work and what's the best strategy, so then I can increase my investment amount later on.

Initially, out of my 15k, I was investing 10k in buying stocks from these:

MEBL
FFC
OGDC
ENGROH
LUCK
SYS

The rest of 5k, I'd double it with the next month's remaining 5k, and would buy stocks of MIIETF. (Hence every two months)

So then I learned that I'm over-investing in stocks. Like, I was buying everything every month. And the commission fee in that scenario would also increase. If I'm buying 6 different stocks every month (even in small amounts), I pay that minimum fee 6 times.

So the alternative came up to me was buying 2 stocks in larger amounts. Rather than investing 1-2k in MEBL each month, I can buy 5k worth of stocks in alternate months. So this way I only have to pay the fee twice a month for 2 buys.

So what I'm currently doing is:

Month A: Buy MEBL + FFC (5k Each)
Save remaining 5k

Month B: Buy ENGROH + OGDC (5k each)
Save remaining 5k, buy MIIETF form 10k

Month C: Buy LUCK + SYS (5k each)
Save 5k

And the cycle repeats....

My question to all the experienced investors who've been in this game for too long: I want to know if this approach is good to follow or not? Am I right or should I change anything?

Also, the companies I've invested in, are they all good to go with?

My goal is long-term investment. Maybe around 10 years.

Okay, so I was facing that same old NCCPL bioverification issue for over a month. (it's almost like a national Pakistani investor problem atm)

I tried the app multiple times, got CNIC blocked. Sent over dozens of emails to JS (my brokerage), no response at all, customer service sucks.

Coming back to today. I searched and found the fact that there's an NCCPL office in Lahore (idk, why I thought it was only in Isb). I went to their office. I thought they would have this fingerprint machine where I'll have to place my fingers to get scanned, but it turned out he was also using the application to scan my fingers.

His approach was different, so I thought I might share in case this helps any of you.

He brought me a wet tissue paper on a plate. Told me to press my four fingers on the paper to get them slightly wet, then he told my husband to hold his mobile's flashlight on my fingers, and that's when he scanned them on his phone application. Just one scan and it got accepted.

Barely took a minute.

Guys I'm losing it. I don't know what's wrong with me but I just cannot stay in the same room with a lizard. I've hated lizards always, they creep me out.

I was living such a peaceful life, and suddenly this one lizard snuck into the room and I'm devastated for the past 4 hours. I'm not even kidding.

You maybe thinking I'm overreacting but trust me I'm so stressed out and creeped by it. It feels like mera demag phat jaye ga.

My phobia has gotten so bad that I was legit shivering, sobbing, and begging my family to get rid of it. (i even tried bribing them, they don't bother) Nobody could get rid of it and now I'm not sleeping in that room. But now I can't sleep here, thinking that there's a lizard crawling around.

What can I do? How to calm myself down?
