Could my account have actually been suspended for this?

I got a call from a suspicious number, decided to answer it. It was an Ai bot that told me 'your Google profile is at risk of suspension. Press 2 to connect with a rep to reinstate your profile.'

I've had no prior emails from Google, no written warnings, nothing from Google prior to this. I thought - ok this call is obviously a scam. And I am so tired of these people spam calling me for my info. So I think 'you know what - ok i'll press 2'. I do, tell them off - and say that they should be ashamed of themselves. Then hung up.

Cut to two minutes later and I get an official email saying my Google Business account was suspended.

I've had literally zero communication with Google before this. Did they suspend me for going off off on their rep? Is that a thing? I'm still not convinced the timing isn't just an insane coincidence - wouldn't you get something in writing before getting a call??

Looking to level up - who's done this before? What do I need to be doing that I might not be aware of?

I've been a handyman for a while now. I'm now looking into scaling up to kitchen, bath, and basement renovations. I've done most of the work required for these projects INDIVIDUALLY, but not in one mass project (toilet & bath install, cabinet hanging, drywall, trim work, tile, flooring, framing, ect).

I'm running into two problems:

#1 This work has been significantly harder to generate leads for, compared to handyman work. I feel like I need to be showing my business off in new areas and online spaces, but don't know where.

#2 I've done most work solo - managing bigger projects is going to be a large organizational challenge. For this kind of work, I'll need to bring on 1-2 more people. I think I can handle this, but recognize that I don't know what I don't know. Any tips or words of wisdom here in regards to the management of a bigger project?

Thanks!

Painting Secretaries Desk?

Hey guys, I've made and painted furniture for myself, and I professionally refinish furniture for clients sometimes too. However, I've never painted furniture for a client, only stained.

Can I have some tips and tricks on how to get that picture perfect paint job? I just bought a professional sprayer, and I'm thinking of using benjamin moore advanced.

Thanks!

Does this sound reasonable to you? I'm in a very high COL area

105 feet of chain link fence removal and 7ft vinyl fence install. Planning on cutting the old fence posts down to the concrete instead of ripping up the whole thing out of the ground.

chain link removal $7.50 /ft - $787

chain link disposal $3 / ft - $315

New Fence Materials - $4692

Installation of New Fence - $4,200

Total: $9,994
