Just straight forward grilling tonight. Steak & potato with mushrooms and peppers. Sweet corn, salad, and cold beer to wash it down.

My fresh vegetables come from a farmers market if not from my own garden. The garlic spears on the steak comes from a garlic called Hard Neck and makes an excellent pesto.

Taco Tuesday last night. Grilled Mexican pork chop [sliced as I ate for taco meat] with what I created and call Chimichurri butter.

Who needs a plate when a cutting board will do. Lol

Mexican pork chop [ sliced as you eat ] peppers, corn, soft tacos. 1st pic has what I call Chimichurri butter. Melts perfectly into the meat.

South American Pulled Pork Sandwhich. Wasn't sure about the black beans all in all it pulled together nicely. Also I made Fried plantain chips.

Ciabatta rolls: toasted under broiler with a little bit of olive oil.

Oregano, sweet peppers, pineapple

black beans, crock pot pulled pork, marinated in little bit of salsa and BBQ sauce. Put sandwhich together drizzle with your favorite BBQ sauce.

Plantain: sliced thin and fried in oil.

Today I made Portuguese Acorda Alentejana [ Bread Soup ] this soup was simplicity at its best.

This week I've made dishes from all around South America, plus the Dominican Republic. Enjoying food from places, I will probably never visit. It's been an excellent and tasty food adventure.

I made a whisky grilled Carne Asada thin sliced, Ensalada Chilena, grilled corn topped with Creamy Jalapeño sauce [ store bought ] Sprinkled with Parmesan.
