School Board Responds to Former Theater Teacher’s Lawsuit

Is anyone following this suit? As a former student of his, I’m finding everything that’s been coming out to be sadly believable. The prior article outlines everything from his perspective but it’s obviously pretty skewed.
As someone who’s been out of LCPS for years now, it’s been a lot of information to catch up on from the last few years.

What are some fitness routines i can incorporate?

Disclaimer I don’t have kids yet but I am planning for pregnancy and beyond, and I currently enjoy staying relatively active 3-4x a week. I’m trying to keep my expectations low on the free time and energy that I’ll have, but I already fear the changes to my relationship with my body after giving birth. I want to continue some sort of physical activity for my own sanity and strength. How are moms into fitness managing the balance between physical activity time and everything else? (my issue also stems from a lot of insecurities which i work through in therapy so any kind words on body neutrality during this phase would be appreciated!)

How to politely request that my manager stop doing my work?

I’m having a hard time dealing with oversight from my manager and want to know if this is expected or needs a conversation.

I have 5 years of experience working in tech as a business analyst, coming up on 1 year directly under my current supervisor. Naturally at this point in my career I feel confident in my ability to do my job with less oversight. I’ve worked with other managers in this organization who’ve had a more hands-off approach and I’ve gotten positive feedback on my performance and quality of work.

My issue is that while I operate best with less oversight, this manager cannot physically provide me with that. I’ve had several instances where I let her know a timeline on when she can expect a deliverable, and I see her making changes and completing the task before I even get to it (within a few hours of us agreeing to a deadline) I am thinking to ask whether this is a performance issue, timeline issue, or some secret third thing. I feel untrustworthy of completing my work, demotivated, and constantly monitored for any potential “mistakes” (those being miniscule details that she notices and unhelpfully points out to me before she corrects my work)

Any words of advice for navigating this situation would be greatly appreciated
