Need Help Making My Room Less Awkward

Hello!

I 20f have finally been able to get the privilege of my own bedroom so when it comes to knowing how to work with the room I’ve got - I am clueless.

There is of course not much in my room yet as I’ve only just began moving in, but I know the room looks awkward and I need ideas on how to make my room look cozy and aesthetic. I feel like the exposed brick on the wall kind of makes it look a bit awkward too but I’m not sure. It’s like one of those things where a bunch of things are awkward and you can’t put your finger on it nor know how to fix it. Maybe the placement of furniture is awkward too or there’s a possibility to work around it and enhance the space.

The aesthetics I am into are Y2K, McBling and Coquette and I’d love that kind of mix of aesthetic in my room. I’d like to have a makeup vanity in my room as well as maybe a tv on the wall.

The room is 3.8 x 3.1m. What would you suggest I do to make this match my aesthetics in mind and have it look less awkward? As well as Pinterest worthy! Thank you for reading!
