I have a friend who s renting an apartment from the person who rented it out (subletting) and he wants his partner to come and stay with him for like 3 weeks and not tell anyone (so the person who is staying the apartment wants their partner to cone stay there). The person who is subletting doesn’t live there. Most of the people in the apartment building are old there s only 5 families there and he s concerned they ll notice new people and report it or something and is freaking out. I know it’s a long time but my friend’s gf has nowhere to stay and he’s paying the money after all. The way I m thinking is if they don t cause any trouble and aren’t loud why would anyone care to report it.

Do people casually use the running tracks just to run or are those reserved for private training and competitions I’m new here so I’m not sure how things are but I feel more comfortable running at the track. Most are labeled as stadiums so I guess I can’t access those does anyone know any close to Montjuic I can’t find any information about accessing it and if it s open to the general public. Any spots you’d recommend?

I have been looking for a job here for a while and I was thinking of contacting an agency, also I am looking for a nee place to move into and thought of contacting an agency as well. Are they helpful? Is it worth it? Does anyone have any experience with that here? I am mainly looking for a job at a hotel reception or something similar as I speak 5 languages so that might help in this area.

Edit: How much does the whole agency thing cost here?

I was thinking mainly covering albums like evermore, folklore, TTPD and Speak Now because Taylor was mainly talking about songwriting and how important it was. I am a fan and enjoy her music but I have to admit some songs or lyrics are very very bad for her level.

What do you think? i’d love to hear some opinions. I personally don’t like “the 1” or “peace” from folklore and many other songs from evermore. “And the tennis court was covered up with some tent like thing” or “ I thought I saw you at the bus stop I didn’t though”. Also the melody in peace is so weird to me and boring same for the 1. Also in “Speak Now” we have “She wears a gown shaped like a pastry” or in Ttpd some lyrics feel so shoved in there and like she has no idea what she s talking about (although I love the album mostly”. Also The Smallest Man who ever did is such a bad song besides from the bridge.

What are your takes?

I realized that, for me the statement “comparison is the thief of joy” is 100% true and affected me a lot. It s pretty unreasonable most of the days because people have different, experiences, salaries, lives etc. everyone is different. Also we normally compare ourselves/ our lives to the highlight of someone else’s.

However I still tend to compare and it’s hard but bad, it makes me feel so behind in everything. How did you do it and how are you focusing on you and better your life I would also love to hear what you did to make your lives better as I m looking to improve myself a lot as well!

Am I crazy for thinking I can find a studio apartment to live in for around 1 thousand euros/ month? I saw some offers on Idealista. My only requirements are for couples to be allowed and for it to be in an area that isn’t unsafe or super far.

I saw some offers on Idealista with very decent studios even under 1k. 200 less or more would be ok. I m currently doing the whole apartment sharing and renting a room thing but it isn t for me and just not an option long term.

Any advice also any other ways to find an apartment other than idealista?

So i’m rewatching the show and even if Rex annoyed me with his bs and I thought he’s not a good match for Bree and we were shown that even further in the flashbacks, the last moments with her made me so emotional and I feel like they evolved a lot and truly loved each other. Yes, he had to die for the plot and so Bree could discover herself probably and date others etc and I loved what the writers did but still I feel so sorry. They could’ve evolved beautifully and Danielle and Andrew wouldn’t have been so insufferable if that didn t happen

Hey! I moved to Barcelona just a few weeks ago still looking for a job and waiting to start Uni in the fall. Until I work or go to Uni it’s hard for me to meet people I know there are certain apps for that I haven’t tried them out yet but I plan on doing it?

However, since it’s summer I really want to go to the beach and I have no problem with doing things alone, but I can’t leave my stuff unattended (especially my phone) and I’m not sure if I can “trust” the whole locker thing. I’m not sure how long it’ll take to make friends but I don’t wanna miss this summer because of it.

Also, any apps or other methods to make friends you’d recommend? Any advice would be welcomed! Thank you!
