Am I delusional or what?
Pata hai aaj kya hua...
okay so there’s this guy in my office and I genuinely don’t understand what’s going on between us So we are in different teams and we’ve literally never had a proper conversation but there’s this INSANE unsaid tension between us 😭
First I noticed him when he came near my manager for some help and he kept looking at me continuously but I ignored it because I was busy.
Then during one farewell cake cutting everyone was feeding cake to a senior. This guy fed him cake first, senior only took a tiny bite and I was next to feed cake to the senior so this guy handed me the same piece and said “yehi khilado” because obviously nobody wanted to eat someone else’s half-eaten cake.I fed the senior, he again took a small bite, then I passed the same cake piece to my colleague and me and this guy just looked at each other and started laughing. After that I started noticing him more and BRO this man keeps staring at me.
Constant eye contacts.
Lunch time eye contacts.
Cafeteria eye contacts.
Crowded room eye contacts.
One day I was taking lunch and he was standing next to me and was smiling (he’s 6’1 and I’m 5’3 ). I didn’t notice at first because I was busy with my plate, then I looked up and he immediately looked awkward as i didn't smile before and left.
After that he stopped smiling for a few days but the eye contacts NEVER stopped. And somehow every single day during lunch we end up sitting diagonally opposite each other where we can clearly see each other. I even changed seats 2-3 times but somehow it still keeps happening.
Then one day cafeteria was crowded, I got up to drink water and he got up at the same time to keep his plate. He literally stood there still for a second and we just had eye contact again and I swear I felt something in my stomach 😭
AND THEN THE CRAZIEST THING HAPPENED.
He was walking past my bay and saw me. I looked away intentionally because I was like “nope I’m not getting involved in this eye contact business again” next second I hear his voice right next to me.
This guy came to my manager pretending to ask him “haal chaal” and talk about work BUT HE KEPT LOOKING AT ME THE WHOLE TIME 😭😭😭
And his smile???? BRO his smile is so cute like the cutest smile ever. Even my manager and another sir started looking at me suspiciously after he left because the tension was that visible and i generally feel uncomfortable if any guy whom I don't talk to keep looking at me bt this time I'm not feelings uncomfortable and this guy looks like a nice decent guy. And the awkwardness and tension is increasing every single time and now I feel nervous around him 😭
Is this mutual attraction or am I just becoming delusional because of repeated eye contact and one cute smile????
