I am in the most pain i’ve ever experienced in life. I can’t even drink water because it hurts so bad for anything to hit the donor site. The bandage they put on my donor site fell off on day three and i’ve been in agony ever since. The tooth ache i’ve had from the pain is unlike anything i’ve ever felt before. I can’t eat or drink i don’t know what to do. All the doctors have said is to use advil and tylenol. I just wish i did more research before this surgery and i wish they offered more options for healing. I pretty sick of pain being overlooked or being told it’s not a big deal. I just want to offer a caution to people.

I got a gum graft on my lower front teeth on june 30th it is now the 5th and im wondering when i can start working out safely again. I have been going on my daily walks as normal but i’ve been skipping my pilates and other cardio workouts out of fear of messing up the graft. I haven’t been feeling any pain from the graft sight really other than some soreness and pressure. I know the recommendation is a week but I’m afraid of straining or losing my stiches. Has anyone had any experience with this?

I have been looking into a lot of options but everything is pricy and I don’t want to spend money on the wrong thing. So far my top contenders are lemme purr/play or the URO mood and moisture pills. Any suggestion? I like that lemme is a gummy because i’m not great with pills but I don’t know how good they actually are.

I’m wondering how bad a gum graft would hurt and how long the healing process is? I have really bad recession on one tooth that has caused the remaining gum to feel sore and appear almost as if its been cut off. I have a dentist appointment soon and although I have many issues with my teeth I can only assume this will be their main focus. I’m pretty sure the only solution would be a gum graft but idk how that would go. It’s just one tooth and one small spot.
