I feel like Suselle fans are taking this scene at face value. While a cute the Weird Route exposes that Noelle genuinely feels trapped by her mundane life and wants to change. Even in the aborted route it’s still reflective of Noelle her mind set. While Susie is providing a temporary solution I feel like the whole “nothing changed” will bleed into Chapter 6

Also this migh provided a double whammy for Susie because what’s worser than finding out about your best friend working with the Knight… your girlfriend who’s been nice to you from the beginning doing something you don’t like or flat out not needing you (the latter part is a bit iffy)

Aqua is basically the Kriselle fankid

Hell, the AquaKnife is the only other sword weapon besides the Jingle Blade and Black Shard that Noelle can welded

For enormous context: while Deltarune is often compared to Mother 3, Pokemon Gen 5 is also noted for the comparison with Mother 3 like with the mythos of the box Legendaries being a Mother 3 reference with the two brothers and the Original Dragon being like Lucas, Claus and the Dark Dragon and N’s farewell theme being like the Love theme (this makes sense considering that the Mother and Pokemon series share similar developers). And the Pokemon connection isn’t lost on Deltarune because Toby helped work on the OSTs of the two latest Pokemon games (especially Scarlet and Violet which also feature Dragon box Legendaries)….
